Are you all having problems with USPS? - Charon - 09-07-2020
Please don't mention vendor names in re: ports of entry. Anything.
But i read that tons of mail was confiscated that comes through Chicago.
And when a person tracks mail, it goes on quite a nice vacation around the US.
And it can often end with a Letter of interdiction.
Anyone want to comment on these things?

Yes I’ve had very important mail from an insurance company go missing and now I’m in a bad situation trying to get it resent. Many other days of opening an empty mailbox when it used to at least be full of junk mail.

Yes. I used to never get an empty mail box but now it does happen quite often. I am also set up with USPS to get an email in the morning with what is coming each day. Used to be right on the money but now emails I get on Monday, I might not get that mail until Thursday. I have also lost several pieces of mail that I did get an email on.
Being in the Windy City Area I had not heard about "tons of mail was confiscated that comes through Chicago".
I do know their have been quite a bit of stories here with video of USPS drivers just dumping their mail in trash and even destroying by fire.

Last month...
A buddy of mine up north in these United States mailed me a letter...
1200 miles ... It usually took appox 3 - 4 days
Two weeks later, it got here ...

Ordered something that as usual comes through Chitown.
I thought it was stuck in customs. Customs swore to arrest me if it was anything illegal. I swore"no" and was told 10 more days. 2.5 months later I got a LL.
Privatey, I would love to initiate some sort of conversartion. Thoughts???

Roto: I don't know anything about a valid appraisal fee. Never heard of it. But never respond to a LL. You are hoping they just go away.
