I have IBS too, and suffer from nausea when it flares up.
My doctor told me to take OTC Zantac and it helped alot!
I know it's for heatburn but Dr thinks the acid
in my stomach accumulates at this time and that's what
makes me feel sick. Zantac takes care of it quickly.
Give it a try !   Cool

I also tried Zantac for occasional bouts of IBS  It works well.
Before trying that I drank 1-2 glasses of water in the morning, ate 2-3 plain saltine crackers,  had a ginger ale or coca cola to help.

Yes, crackers and ginger ale always help me too!
Hope you're feeling well.  Big Grin

Sugary fluids usually help me relieve nausea but not fizzy, take the cap off and leave them for a while. I know ginger is meant to help but like Pavlov's dog I now connect anything ginger flavoured with the feeling of nausea! And eat little and often. Well I'd say you know all this, and it's probably not much help, nausea is an awful thing as it can wipe you out. My doc once gave me ondansetron which was really effective but he said it was very expensive. Mind you this was a long time ago and maybe there's cheaper generic versions now.
