I was on xanax for 10 yrs taken 2mg 3 to 4 times a day and then my doctor changed me to Clonazapam .5 mg twice a day (I just love how the doctors have just changed how they feel about prescribing) It is not even close enough to alleviate my stress I have anxiety attracts all of the time. I do find that Clonazepam and Xanax works great together like taking Clonazepam as prescribed and using xanax for breakthrough stress. I need to know what will work better then this combination. I have a high tolerance for xanax of course so I need a lot to make a difference and I need more clonazapam for the same reason. Is there any other combinations that would work better please help this is very important. I am loosing ground here on my recovery as the doctors don't care I know y'all do.
I don't even have a current PDR now (physicians desk reference.)
I don't change the same meds i have been prescribed for years.

its the tolerance that's getting you I am not sure on mixing that is your call but 6mg a day is lots and then to drop to .5 clono is drastic believe I would go back to ask why some much drop so quick IMHO DR.S WHAT DO THEY KNOW LOL GOOD luck BTW
Well tolerance sure will play a factor but changing from 3-4 2mgs a day is quite a bit. 1-2 0.5mgs is your Drs way of saying he/she thinks you don't need it as much as you may. If you completely stay off for a few weeks and then start what the dr prescribed the clonaz will work better I'm sure. Other than that it doesn't pack the punch alpraz does so I don't have a combination for you :/.
I'd agree with that fully Harley except for the certain people built for it. Had a counterpart once whom would take 18mgs a night easily if she had access. It was a bad time but she definitely didn't need to be weened and could very much handle it. But your dr would know this and not prescribe what they had so your story is different.
Yeah that's a big drop. If your Dr can't give you short-term relief like alps or ativan, try taking a soma with the clonazepam.
Believe it or not kratom tea really helps if you are suffering. A relaxing strain like a Bali.
This is true Athena alcohol and benzoin wd can both be fatal.
Sorry to hear about you problem. It does seem. Like a drastic drop and I can't imagine it being safe at all. I'm no doctor but I've seen people have serious issues from stopping cold turkey from just 2 bars a day. I wish you the best and I would recommend contacting your doctor with these concerns. Only you can tell them how you feel. They can't tell you how you feel so make sure your not getting wd. As a stated above you can actually die from wds on benzos and alcohol. yea that's what I thought that is why I am looking more to IOP my doctor said he will not go up and he said since clonazapam is long lasting I should be fine well I am not. I think the clonazepam will be OK but I need more what about Valium is that comparable to clonazepam.
