BIG PROBLEMS FOR THOSE IN "STREET OUTLAWS" TV SHOW: Â Â I had no idea someone did a drive by shooting on Sept 29th aimed at the business and then residence of Shawn Ellington aka The Murder Nova Driver.
Big Chief and Chuckie had a major accident during filming. Â Big Chief's car is totaled. Broken collar bone. And, more.
And, Two men are charged with murder in the killing of two innocent bystanders to the race in CA in March.
Further, the NHRA, national hot rod association, has made it clear that none of  these gentlemen had better appear on this show again. Or, lose their racing licenses.  But, it is deemed murder, in CA, to hit and kill someone whilst racing.  i would have thought negligent manslaughter.

With fame comes a share of unwanted attention from both fans and detractors. Unfortunately for Shawn Ellington, owner of Midwest Streetcars and famous for his 1969 Chevrolet “Murder Nova†from the Discovery Channel show Street Outlaws, that fame ended up bringing a hail of bullets on his speed shop in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on the night of Monday, September 28, 2015, along with a terrifying run-in with a suspect outside of his home on earlier that evening.
According to Midwest Street Car’s Facebook page, the shooting took place late-Monday night while the shop was closed. Midwest Street Cars has confirmed that there were 11 shots fired.
To add insult to injury, Midwest Street Cars tells HOT ROD that a suspect approached Shawn's home just after 9:00 p.m. Thankfully, Shawn had security cameras at his home and Speed Society was kind enough to share that video with us to help find the suspects.
The security camera, which was mounted to Shawn’s personal shop outside his home, shows what appears to be a white male pulling his t-shirt over his head while approaching the residence before turning around as Shawn became privy to the intrusion. You can see lights come on in the top-right of the frame as Shawn noticed signals from his home alarm. When Shawn spotted the intruder by his truck, he gave chase before the intruder escaped the property.
While the shooting at Midwest Street Cars is deplorable enough as it is, going after the home of Shawn and his family is absolutely heinous. "THANK YOU EVERYONE.... I'm pretty beat up right now. Just woke me up for some breathing treatments. Pulmonary contusions (bruised lungs). Crushed my L2 and L3 in my back, broken collarbone, and pretty beat up, but so thankful to be alive right now. They got me on non stop oxygen and another round of cat scans, and X-rays coming up. The surgeon doesn't believe i will need back operation anymore, but they are going to keep me in the hospital again tonight to keep an eye on the lungs, YES I WILL BE BACK!"

According to Yellow Bullet, and a multitude of social media sources, the Discovery Channel show Street Outlaws was reportedly filming an episode late Saturday night (November 14, 2015), when one of the show’s stars, Justin “Big Chief†Shearer, and Brian “Chucky†Davis made contact during a run, resulting in what appeared to have been a fairly serious wreck for both drivers.
Exact injuries are currently unknown, but Shearer and Davis are reportedly under watch at a local hospital with back pain.
This news comes one month after the drive-by shooting at Midwest Street Cars, where Shearer works.

Israel “Izzy†Valenzuela who appeared as a driver on the popular street-racing show, Street Outlaws and Henry Michael Gevorgyan have both been charged with murder for the death of two bystanders, Eric Siguenza, 26, and Wilson Thomas Wong, 50, after a street racing accident in Southern California.
Both suspects are being held on two counts of murder and one count of engaging in a motor vehicle speed contest on a highway causing a concussion. According to Ricardo Santiago, the Public Information Officer from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, the prosecutors “do not believe they were driving, rather that they helped promote and organize the event.†Bail was set at more than $2 million.

Second Man Charged with Murder in Chatsworth Street Race Crash A 38-year-old man was charged today with murder for his alleged role in the death of two spectators killed when a car crashed during an illegal street race, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced. Irael Valenzuela (dob 3/29/76) faces two counts of murder and one count of engaging in a motor vehicle speed contest on a highway causing a concussion in case PA083096. Arraignment is scheduled this afternoon in Department S of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, San Fernando Branch. Henry Michael Gevorgyan, 21, was charged on March 3 in the same case with two counts of murder and one count of engaging in a motor vehicle speed contest on a highway causing a concussion. Valenzuela and Gevorgyan allegedly helped promote and organize an illegal street race in Chatsworth on Feb. 26, prosecutors said. During the race, a car spun out of control and crashed into a crowd, killing Eric Siguenza, 26, and Wilson Thomas Wong, 50, and injuring a third man, prosecutors added. Bail for Valenzuela is requested at more than $2 million. If convicted as charged, both defendants face a maximum possible sentence of 33 years to life in state prison. Bail for Gevorgyan was set at more than $2 million and he is due back in Department S on March 11. The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, Valley Traffic Division.
