I've had 2 seizures since the beginning of Jan.  Nothing big.  Strictly personal amount type thing.  The odd thing is it has been over 2 months and I have still not received an LL.  No knocks on the door either but I would have thought since they were seized on both sides of the country I would have received at least 1 LL by now.  One of the orders was reshipped and received.  The other company requested I get a new name and address to send it to.  I've gotten a p.o. box but I'm hesitant to request the reship since my address is tied to my p.o. box plus not getting the LL has me wanting to wait.  The order is only $134.  I am tempted to write it off but haven't made up my mind yet.  Anyone thing 9 weeks is an excessive amount of time for 2 LL's.  I've gotten one before and it took 5-6 weeks.  Any input appreciated.

Hi Hoop,
I've only receive two LLs in about twelve years.  Lots of those years I didn't use global vendors.  But, the LLs came in a more or less timely fashion.  Currently I use a P.O. box, and last LL was followed by a couple of mags delivered to the same P.O. box.  The lack of a LL could just be due to the inefficiency and overload in all government agencies.  It does seem a long time to me too though.  Hope you don't get one.

You can't rule out those greedy postal/customs "officers"... They've been known to grab a few..

But this isn't gospel... Yet it does seem like quite awhile...

It was definitely seized but still no love letters. I think I'm going to get the reship done to my po box. Bottom line is I don't sell and the amount of every seizure I've had clearly shows that. The inefficiency theory is probably correct.

I don't rule out the greedy customs officers. A buddy has a tobacco shop and he's been approached by Customs officers to sell Cuban cigars they seize every day at the international airport close to where I live. I'll see soon enough.

Ahh i only jsut relaised there is a quick reply box! oh well anyway in my part of the worl im  not sure what we get but im pretty sure mines been seized so am waiting on an LL i fucking hope and not a kockk onthe door becaus ewith my anxiety i think ill jsut break down mentally.

I honestly dont think the police have the time nor resources to be knocking on every door that gets a package seized.... unless of course were talking massive amounts of product or hardcore drugs.

For my package the tracking number through canada post just says it has been sent to customs. Its been this way for over a month. Will it ever say it has been seized on the website? Im guessing its gone already although I seem to be having a hard time getting my vendor to re ship. Apparently they want more patience. Am I being too impatient about an order that was sent feb 2? Its from a quality vendor too (well from my research here)

I would ask for a reship, especially if its someone you do business with often, and for sure if you are having to sign for these letters.
When and if the other letter shows up just pay the difference.

I believe they have up to 30 days to send you an LL, not sure if laws have changed. I have had 2 LL's in close to 20 yrs the LL's both showed within 2 weeks.

Like Ice Wizard said, sometimes them letters just disappear.

I've received 1 LL, that was last year and it was about 6 weeks (if I remember correctly) after I made my order, which usually arrived in under a week.

Another time last year not long after the LL I made an order that never showed up but got no LL that time. I don't know if it got lost in the post or it was seized but they decided not to send me a LL.

My only LL was 4-6 weeks after seizure.  I'm now pushing week 9 with nothing.   I really think the LL is just a scare tactic.  Prescription drugs are so high priced in the US it should be a crime.  When you have masses of people ordering from abroad many with prescriptions it would be a nightmare to prosecute those living on fixed incomes for trying to save 90% by ordering the exact same medicines abroad.  On top of that if they did prosecute it would be so easy mail someone prescription drugs to cause them grief that I don't see how a prosecutor could prove you ordered the medications unless you just admitted it.  In my case I would never admit it or order beyond personal consumption.  Maybe they pulled my name and address after seizing 2 packages a few days a part and decided I was a hopeless cause since the LL from 6 months prior did not stop me.  I just don't know.

the websites don't normally reflect a seizure as far as i know.

not if u r referring to the highly respected vendors i am thinking of.

roxydan: we would all break down mentally. many of us have anxiety that rises to the level of acute PTSD. (no disrespect to our warriors intended.)

maybe, it will have u rethinking attempting to become an email vendor on here.
