I don't have to much experience with muscle relaxers other then fl3x3ril (which I hated because it gave me really bad restless leg syndrome), but I actually just got some s0ma today! Have not tried it yet but will update when I do!
costro: please look up quinine before u take it. it is the medicine that was given to lupus patients. https://www.google.com/search?q=quinine&...e&ie=UTF-8

it caused my partner to lose vision and it caused my niece, both with lupus, to go blind. And, she died at age 48.

Please, research quinine. It can be extraordinarily toxic to the body.
My body has just started to deteriorate in the last five years, so I'm fairly new to the pain management game...I used to just stop at the bar before I went home and a few beers would calm the pain and I could go on with life...but eventually alcohol began to make me feel really bad - so I don't drink hardly at all anymore - I just can't. I found after a trip to the dentist that pain meds really did help me and the side effects were FAR LESS than alcohol...fl3x3ril made my limbs thrash so I went to r0baxin and that's fine - and my doctor allows me 15mg per day Hydr0z - which I am thankful for but have to supplement to keep the pain manageable. The fact that they're pressuring our primaries to reduce or eliminate these medications has me BESIDE MYSELF - they're taking it out of the doctor's hands to prescribe the appropriate amount on a patient by patient basis - it seems like they're FORCING us to look elsewhere to supplement...does that even make any sense??? A dosage should be between a doctor and a patient only RIGHT? how logically can some bureaucratic interference help? I have to do what I have to do, but I really hate myself sometimes for doing it...I want to stay productive, but it feels like I'm being forced to disability...
Hey 45,man I could have written that 12yrs ago,i used to love to go bikeing with my now ex-wife at the beach, have a couple of beers, walk in the water, watch the sunset. All that has passed,i can no longer get the theraputical dosage I need to function.the less I could move, the less work I could do.till they forced me into retirement. im now still trying to just keep as positive as possible.
I was put on flex amd baclofen by my doctor. They both did absolutely nothing. It was almost like a placebo medicine to make you think you were receiving relief. I sometimes wonder if the intent is to just move you on to your next 15 minute appointment and your just going to have to pay to play. The first time I had tried s0ma was by my primary doc about 12 years ago. I knew immediately they worked. Yes there is a dry drunk feeling that comes with them but it's seemingly short lived. Then the therapeutic aspect kicks in. Taken in conjunction with a 0piod pain reliever it is the only thing that makes me somewhat active again outside of work. I used to go on hikes and photo walks almost every other day after work and since my pain was getting worse. I no longer am able to. I have to save my strength for work only. It's a hard line to walk but given time you will find what works for YOU. Since we are all different and our bodies are different.

I'm with you about so ma. It has worked better for me in the past than any other. BUT, now it is almost impossible to get it prescribed. Like with everything else, if it's something that is good and helps us feel better, the government takes it away. I think they like to see us suffer.

As for muscle relaxers I wouldn't consider myself an expert but I did hurt my back about a year ago at work and was given cyl0benz@prine by the Dr at the hospital witch I rather enjoyed. Then when I went to my family Dr for a refill I was prescribed baclofen which I found were not as effective and really knocked me out
I have used Cycl0benz@prine in past with pretty good results. I did find I build up a tolerance to it fast though. Also found myself becoming too dependent on it..
I Prefer S0ma or Zan@flex when it comes to thee types of medication.z@naflex works better for me during the day, less drowsy feeling doma at night for sedated feeling.
I was told Lørazapam works as a muscle relaxer. Not sure tho
