Have i done something wrong or just don't have permission because I am a n00b?
I leave the site issues to my esteemed co admin, ADMIN OF STEEL.
He is like the Wizard of OZ. He is often behind the curtain but he has so many answers.
For one, u can try to make ur fifty posts in On topic areas. (not in lounge or welcome thread.)
But, I bet Steel will have a real answer. Hang tight. He shows up at all sorts of hours.

About your issue, it could be related to if you have enough posts to PM .
If you do not then the system may also not allow you to look at profiles.
Please try that and give feedback what you find....or can you look at profiles now?

You can modify your profile, But profile viewing of your own self or of other is temporarily disabled till you reach your 50 Post count. We have had people register here only to see profiles of others and most members don't bother hiding their e-mails addresses. When they were bothered by others they blamed the Administration for the info leak that is why we put up that rule so no one can see the profile page till he is clear with the 50 Posts and by 50 Posts we get to know the member very well that he is able to stay or should we let him go.
