Styx is the river to greek hell? correct?
If my history classes serve me right
why make that comparison??
Larry
Ashylary as a greek and philosopher I say you are right. Styx or ΣΤΥΓA was ther iver that separated the dead word from living ones. But for metaphore it is also used for someone that overcomes a barrier and breaks to the other side. Στυχ was also a female god in ancient greece that helped Zeus to win the class of titans. There was not a hell in Greek philosophy there was ADES a state were dead souls had no punisment but only eternal life.
Congrats bluecoral.
Just think of all those PM's you will be writing , I saw you mention . Welcome to the 50 + club

Glad to reach 50, but fiddlesticks! I must have posted in off topic boards because not everything is open to me yet!
