This is bizzare, i have tracking that begins with RR then some number and the the initials of the country of origin. I can track it through said countries postal system up until it left that location. Now trying to trqck with usps it says tracking is unavailable for this item..what the heck? Anyone else have any info? Its been approx 15 days including our US observed holiday and sundays..
USPS has changed it's tracking rules.......and the countries of origin it tracks from in certain parts of the world......
You are probably experiencing this change. it is not unusual.
Almost everyone tracks better than USPS

Yes, tracking is VERY reassuring and I figured it would be here by now given what I wshould told. But I'm just impatient, holidays and whatnot are fun, but jeez I need to plan better..

i SECOND THAT...THESE COUNTRIES TRACK THE DEPARTURE AND ARRIVAL IN SOME WEIRD LOCATION...MINE HAS BEEN IN TRANSIT 45,,,.GOOD LUCK WITH THOSE FRIENDS NOWADAYS
It look like more and more countries of origin are not longer trackable on usps. And when they are, there are a a big blind spot of several days or even weeks when you do not have any idea for the package is.
In Resume, USPS had a really bad service

. I lived in others " first world " countries and their national post service ( for example Royal from UK ) are much better than usps, and even so, there are far from be perfect. But, USPS, works more like a third world country post service ( believe me, I was there too

)
Yes, this is the case.
With many countries, tracking effectively begins only after entry into the USA......leaving a big black hole in between the sending and receiving.
Once it is in the USA, the tracking is really quite good.
