I know thats not an answer to your question, but I have taken both and despite my insomnia I would not use either for sleep

My doc gave me Ser for sleeping. Wow! Said take 1-2 before sleep. I took 1/2 before sleep and was zonked and hungover for the entire next day. Would rather use Zolp. Works for me, not hungover. I don't understand why Ser is so freely given/suggested. I Don't use xan, but diaz will put me to sleep and I'll stay asleep. But, that's a backup for me.

Seroquel will def make you sleep, alp is not so much a sleeping pill, I guess it could be considered one, but Seroquel will make you a walking zombie, and its overly powerful. although find the right dosage and you would be ok, but exercise is a great way to get sleep, if you exhaust yourself your body will by nature go to sleep. trazadone is a decent sleeping med without getting into to much of a psychotic.
