Hello all. Been visiting the site for a little while now figure it's time to join after getting pointed in a good direction from this board. Been around certain types of forums reading materials for about 10 years but this board Helps with alternatives I've been researching lately.
Hello and welcome, Bj990!
You will find a PLETHORA (I have been waiting for a chance to use that word!) of information on this forum! The thing that will help you the most is to READ, READ, READ.
Also, familiarize yourself with the rules. Long term members on here still re-read them. As do I. It's often so easy to forget before one posts, and so knowledge of the forum rules is imperative.
The very best thing you can do to find answers is to READ, READ, READ. I am still reading threads. Not just ones that pertain to things I am interested in, but all threads.
That is how you will find your answers. When searching for something of interest, read the whole thread. While it may seem unnecessary, trust me. It is far from that. I have found answers to questions I had about things I did not understand, or thought I would never find, by reading. Then re-reading from the beginning of the thread, all over again. Sometimes the answer was right there in front of me, and I didn't even see it, until I went through the thread again and read all the posts. Often the answer was on the first page!
The more you read, the more you will find. If you read, read, read, you will also find that you may not even need to ask the questions you had. You will have found the answers by reading threads.
I am not saying questions are not allowed here. But we do encourage members to read a LOT, because often new members have the same questions, and the answers are already here, in posts, in threads. And threads that may not even interest you, will often provide you with answers you did not expect to find. This has happened to me so many times!
So, as I always say, READ! READ! READ! It will serve you very well.
Again, welcome! Oh, and did I mention that members get more information when they READ, READ, READ?
Just being silly with you.
But it is true. The members who know the most, are the ones who read the most!

My old community was like that. All the info a search button away. But several of us migrated to a newer place where it's ok to ask any dumb question because it's what it was made for. So need to get away from that lazy mentality lol.
But for a little more on my intro I'm quite the typical meathead so once I'm able to message anyone can feel free to discuss nutrition and lifting information. Which has been very helpful to me with my background of add, depression, anxiety and possibly bipolar disorder which is coming out as I get older. Fitness gives me a little mental stability. But that's why I'm here as I've found things to help with my head and being part of a community is always a plus!
Hey welcome. You're on the right spot. Hope all goes well
