Hi FirePlaces,
Yep, White Collar. That's where I first really discovered him, too. Still love thst show. It's on Netflix, I think, and was running on ION every Sunday from Noon-Midnight. I'm not sure if it still is on now though. I had seen him in Magic Mike and The Normal Heart (such a great movie, if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Mark Ruffalo, who I also really like is in it, too. All of the actors in that movie gave amazing performances), but White Collar is where I first became a fan. Absolutely love him! Small world story, but I briefly worked as a Publicist in the Entertsinment Industry and worked on a couple of projects with his husband, Simon. This was long before he and Matt got married, but I can vouch for Simon. He is a genuinely nice guy, a rarity in Hollywood.
Ray Donovan is another one of my faves. Counting the down the days until the season premiere (6 from today). Several friends of mine ran into him and his 2 sons at Comic Con the first Thursday of Comic Con (7/20). He was just walking through the crowd, so they stopped to say hello and told him how much they loved the show. They didn't want to bother him because it was obviously "family time," but they said he was a class act. Very humble and gracious.
I am a GoT fan, but am several seasons behind, so like Linville asked, no spoilers, please.
I'm looking forward to the return of Will&Grace this Fall. It will be interesting to see how the writers change it since it first aired since so many things have changed since then.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Thanks for the post....Jc._Aloha.
Which BTW I wish I was in Aloha land.
Aloha land! Lol love that! Me too I'm actually on the mainland right now and hating it! Queen of the south is soooo good I was addicted the first episode!

That's a new one for me and they are already on season 5. Where have I been?! t's on CW, right? Oh, Daniel Gillies is in it. He was on Vampire Diaries. Are the 2 shows somehow connected?
Since it's Wednesday, anyone else like Younger? A little far fetched, but I like Sutton Foster and Debi Mazar. Loved Sutton on Bunheads. Both Nico Totorella and Peter Hermann are great - she can't go wrong with either one, although the guy she hooked up with last week (who was married) gave them both a run for their money. I forgot Hermann was married to Mariska Hargitay. That's where I have seen him before - SVU.
What about Suits? Anyone out there still watch it? Think this January will be the last season? It is season 5, so it's up for syndication. My guess is will air through the Spring and that will be it. The stories are getting kind of dry. Donna as a Sr. Partner? Right. Where did she get the buy in? Not possible. COO makes a little more sense considering she is not even a lawyer.
So, Mr. Robot season 2... anyone else disappointed? Season 1 was so good. I hope Season 3 is better.
I watch suits addicted! My newest fav is Queen of The south it's like Breaking Bad but with The cartel! It's sooooo good!
So, what do you think of how this season is gong so far? Harvey's new relationship is interesting. Loved the last line of the show "Let's be scared together." I think he's realizing with his new position he's a grown-up now. It's been one of my favorite shows for awhile, but this season I have really had to take off my lawyer-hat because it really has gotten so unreal. I think Jessica will be back, may be even in more than flashbacks/scenes where she is supposedly talking to Harvey, since The Catch was cancelled. But, I hope they give it some time to see how Harvey tackles his new role as Managing Partner. His relationship with Mike is becoming complex because of the promise he made re:pro bono work. Laughed at the scene with Harvey and Louis mudding. Ha!
I saw another advertisement for Queen of the South while watching Suits. It looks good and is on my list to watch. I'm watching The Last Tycoon with Kelsey Grammar, Lily Collins and Matt Bomer now, they just loaded all 9 eps at midnight. I've seen the 1st ep, which premiered last summer. Going to have to watch it again though. It's me, the beach, Matt Bomer and my iPad all weekend. What more could a person ask for?
Have a great weekend!

The last tycoon? I haven't seen that one?! Is it worth the watch? I might have to get into it! Yes I hope they continue suits I think they have kinda veered away from the beginning story line and I was wondering where they were gonna go with it and Louise is my favorite lol. He is so funny even when he is pissed off. I think Jessica will be back even though I see her in tv land everywhere! Do you think it's weird Donna is partner now? I mean well deserved yes but seriously what is she gonna do?! I'm afraid as partner she won't have the same skills/availability to handle the problems she does and moving her office isn't going to help. I love Greta too. I wish mike would just get married already that shit should have happened already. I think they will probably have that as a finale episode to the series or something. Harvey is too hot. I hope this new girlfriend helps him loosen up a little but he can't hold a relationship so I see it failing, I am still holding a candle for Him and Donna!

In addition to The Last Tycoon, which Amazon loaded last night (Kelsey Grammar, Matt Bomer and Lily Collins), I would recommend Top of the Lake: China Girl. It stars Elizabeth Moss, and if any of you saw the original Top of the Lake, you may remember that it is about a female detective, obsessed with the disappearance of a 12-year-old pregnant girl near a freezing lake in New Zealand. The brave female detective finds herself up against small-town full of secrets, and this season looks even better than the 1st.
Happy Viewing!

Another one that's really good Animal Kingdom! Like SOA but with surfers! But you have to pay for the second and third season which I might shamefully do soon because I need to know what's going on! I'm gonna check out the last tycoon tonight! It feel like almost my shows are cancelling! Scandal better not cancel or how to get away with murde!
Wait they cancelled The Catch?! DAMN IT!!!!! I'm so upset I didn't know that! Ugh I liked that show. I liked Blood and Oil and they cancelled that too! What are they doing there at ABC
I missed your Animal Kingdom comment. I watch it every week. I think it's great, but a lot of people have commented that the U.S. version doesn't hold a candle to the Australian version. So, I have to check out that version one of these days.
Yes, they cancelled The Catch. I was bummed about that, too. Loved Peter Krause in Parenthood, which Sonya Walger who played Margot also did an arc on, Mirelle Enos from The Killing (did you know in real life she is married to Alan Ruck, Camern from Ferris Bueller?), John Simm from Doctor Who, and thought the rest of the cast was great, too. That show had a lot of potential. I can't believe they would cancel a Shonda Rhimes show.
They do seem to be cancelling a lot of shows and not giving them enough time to build an audience. Must be due to shareholder pressure because original premium cable shows and original shows on Hulu, Netflix and Amazon are doing so well.
