got a question how does Bromazepam compare to xanax or cloanazapam I was think of trying them only if they are similar to of those or even valium because I tried Nitrazepam and hated them basically made me feel drunk all day. thanks in advance.

It is alot like clon except not as physical more mental. It's not sedating which is nice but also isn't much of a muscle relaxant.Alot of times when I am anxious my body will really tense up. So it depends what your looking for but it is pretty good for daytime.
Thanks for the info it seems to me i might as well just stay my favs as this one doesn't seem exactly better just different. Once again thanks
tried both recently, only regret not having more bromazepam instead of nitrazepam, found nitraz to be real disappointment in a way it works, it doesn't give any anxiety relief, sleep on it is terrible, and while it seems to calm anxiety down its smth like 5mg nitraz to 10mg vals for me at least.

bromazepam found just be exploring and giving it a few tries, and its subtle but calm, kick in pretty fast as other noted,it easily say 12mg bormaz=15 mg valium if not more,it doesnt provide that spaced out feeling but good at managing anxiety and found it quite pleasant to take before sleep also in the mornings theres no w/d where one would wake up panicking as opposed to shorter acting benzos.

its def in my top picks now beween clonz and bromazepam as weaker but stable counterpart, since tried few generics of bromaz find that two that ive tried work same as quality goes.

Nitrazepam seemed very useless then again took only 3x5 a day and felt a bit impaired.

You have NOT got off to a to good start here.
I find that nitrazepam has changed alot. I used to get a prescription for it when I was younger and they were great but hadn't taken them for years. I've tried them again recently and just got nothing from them at all.
Are all "...pams" basically the same.

How would you compare them to a layperson?

Is it like a box of jellybeans where they all do basically the same thing but there may be a certain type you like best and always go for those first?

Or is that too simplistic?
I know that Bromaz is weaker than most first line benzos . If you compare 1 mg of Xanax with Lexotan or other Bromaz you need 4-5 mg to get the same sedating and anxiolytic effect. Data are taken from Medscape . Or I say 6 mg Lexotanil equals 10 mg Valium in the clinic. The way each one interacts with benzos is unique and depends on his own genes and nerve receptors in each person's brain. But my sense is, and I will try to describe it in my own words, that Bromazepam acts like the old good wine, slow sedating and gradually eliminates stress and you need more to experience hypnagogic effects, while xanax or ativan are like 50 % alcoholic grade gin with tonic , with the later you get fast sedation and sleep with immediate anxiolytic properties . But with the price of being drunk at a lower quantity and with many unwanted hungover kinds of side effects.

Are they the same...no.

There are many ways to educate yourself-look for a primer in a nursing textbook/educational site for medical uses of benzodiazapines.  Will give background on doses/types/usages and how the body metabolizes these variations.

You may also find online medical journal articles comparing benzos and there used to be some good charts online listing uses and variations.  Would post links but you can probably find them easily but if you can look at a nursing textbook/site relevant to your country would be best start-it is how I learned.

Hope all is well.
The only benzo I can cope with during the day is valium. Alprazolam would render me completely useless and also likely to send me straight. Nitrazepam certainly isn't something to bge taken in the day it's a sleeper more then anything imo. Im not surprised you felt lije you were drunk
