Just escaped Houston as I have said before I travel in my work so now I'm in El Paso Texas I know 20 years ago I crossed border and got 90 day supply of my anxiety meds ect
Just wondering if laws have changed or if anyone has crossed border to Mexico lately
And has any information on this
As always thanks for any help
I've done the same exact thing, it seemed that the "f3ds" didn'y give a flip if the scripts( and I use that term lightly) had
D3A number or not. They just took down your info (off my DL) and logged it so you couldn't keep going back for another 3 month supply every day/week ....
NOW Texas officials had a different point of view on that D3A number, they would confiscate, not only your meds, but your a$$ as well!!!
Now of coarse times have changed greatly even to the point that you need a freakin passport just to go and come Mexico... In Brownsville, you couldn't walk down the street that several "promoters" wiuld hustle you in to see a Dr, he showed you a catalog with pictures, I just pointed to what I wanted and he wrote the script ( there was at least 1--15 tables in there all doing the same thing) then he would point you right across the hall to the pharmacy to have all your "stuff" filled ... Again, the border guards would doi nothing and neither did the "check point" guards,,,
BUT don't let the Texas DPS catch you with them, they meant business and never in a good way...
I never understood why a governmental agency did not care about a registered D3A number, the the locals cops had a hissy fit over it!!!
So since I never seemed to even bother to answer your original question, I would have to assume if they are tightening the grip of the f3dz, that too must have been affected...
Best of luck

Thanks ice still thinking it over but have been reading some news about safety and if I do decide to take the trip across I will let group know how it goes

I would be so scared and shaking with fear that I wouldn't be able to pull anything off in another country.
Fear raises my anxiety level thru the roof. I even get a little nervous signing for parcels..then I think "oh, she/he postal person is going to remember past mail I've rec'd," even tho I'm always having different postal carriers.
Anxiety is crazy, isn't it?
Yes it is and it can come out of nowhere or be triggered

Oh my Gosh, I know. Yesterday afternoon went to a meeting with my daughter, now lately I don't drive at night because we moved out to the country, it's real dark and I have the worse night vision. It was daytime when we got there but after the meeting it was dark. I don't like anyone else driving so here I am trying hard to concentrate and I had a major panic attack. When I wasn't able to move my feet anymore on the pedals because they were frozen in panic, I pulled over and let my daughter drive. I'm waiting right now for some relief to come, so I had nothing but a brown paper bag I keep in my car to breathe in and out. The waiting is the hardest part.......Tom Petty
Sorry to go off topic....but your answer triggered my answer LOL
I think being On Topic is most important in vendor threads. Cuz people want to get the info and jump off. But, this thread is labelled questions, and it seems to me one cannot go off topic in a thread so entitled.
I never learned to drive whilst young. Only once I had my son. And i could not see well at night. I gripped the steering wheel and sang aloud any christian song that i could think of. All the way down to Jesus loves me, this I know, cuz the bible tells me so. And, i memorized the way. Exactly.
I believe as we age a bit it can become more difficult to see at night. Not sure. Just from talking to people.
And, if we are subject to fear or have anxiety or PTSD, it comes outta nowhere. Makes one start shaking like a leaf.
I am glad u pulled over and let ur daughter drive. smart move. I go into fight or flight mode all the time. So, for emergency i try to carry Inderal. It is what my medical doctor sister said all the doctors take to stop shaking before public speaking or such. It can stop the shaking but not the anxiety that accompanied it.
Maybe ask ur doctor about inderal or check it out online. It does not stop anxiety it only alleviates obvious tremors and shaking.
Isn't life grand as we get older? Aye carumba. And, with all that is going on in re: acquiring meds online for anxiety, we are all becoming far more anxious. Shall we be left with any meds at all? It is not looking good. At least in my state.
U sound better today. Don't go out alone if it can become dark. Bring the daughter that drives. And let her drive. Cuz i am guessing that everytime we go into panic mode or become super anxious, that it makes autoimmunes flare up. Leaves us open to illness or such. Stay safe please. But, yes, many of us experience this. Comes out of nowhere.
