LOS ANGELES – John Fogerty is suing
two of his former Creedence Clearwater
Revival bandmates claiming they haven't
paid him in years for performing the band's
hits with their new group.

Fogerty's lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles
is against Stuart Cook and Douglas Clifford,
two founding Creedence members who now
perform — without Fogerty — under the
name Creedence Clearwater Revisited.

Fogerty previously sued the men over using
the Creedence Clearwater name, but
settled with them in 2001 for a share of their
touring and merchandise income.

Forgerty's lawsuit claims he hasn't been
paid his share since December 2011. His
lawsuit does not say how much he is
seeking.

Both Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater
Revisted are on tour. A message sent through the band's website seeking comment was not immediately returned.

Ice,
I grew up with Doug Clifford.......I was there when his mom (who was a friend of my mother) bought him his first set of drums......
He's kinda ego bound now.

Just a fun little fact!

I sure did like their band.

Now how cool is that ... I have always liked CCR ... Fogerty had a very "unique" voice ... But to be a friend to the drummer, well that's too cool ...
