I use MG and WU exclusively but avoid the internet to ensure that the transaction is as anonymous as possible. After all I don't even have to use my real name if I show up in person. No connection to card or an account just an anonymous cash transaction. Granted there's still a record of my signature and on camera but nothing digital as can be traced online. Regardless you should get that money back. How does that work anyway? Did you create an account with them such that you had funds available for transfer at a future date?

So if the receiver don't cash the money, it is lost ? since you don't use an id ? or with the receipt you can claim the money back ?
thanks

No not lost. I've picked up when vendor failed to pick before. Just need to remember the name you sent it with. All you really have to do is bring in your receipt and if your money hasn't been picked up buy the intended recipient you can still claim it. After all they don't mind getting paid their fee just to store your money, right?
I've never had a vendor not p/u the payment.i did have w/u try to keep my $,because my phone # didn't match the one I wrote in the box.good thing I had the receipt.

Simple Amazing. Thanks for the tip. One time, When I was traveling, I sent money to my daughter ( I was in Brazil ) and the WU agent asked me for the id. It is kinda cool that they don't ask the id.

Paying cash or via bank they know who you are.  If you got caught with enough the fact you've only paid cash isnt really going to help you.  There still coming through the door.  Admittedly it may hold things up a little but thats about it.

Getting the money back isnt the issue im more concerned as to why they shut it for a breach when its hardly even been used in 12 months.  Its odd to say the least.  Especially to be told i cant ever use them online again!

I respectfully disagree. With cash onsite, and no ID, your not identified by the sender unless you provide accurate information. That being said they could (LE that is as I'm assuming your referring to?) backtrack assuming that they had the ability to find out where the shipment you were accused of paying for's was in the shipper's records and showed a payment near the address where you were supposed to receive. Lotta work in multiple countries to catch someone not anticipated to be a kingpin. Not to say it hasn't been done or that it would be difficult if they also had a pertaining IP to research. Just sayin... In addition I would be concerned about funds lost for no reason! If this is their problem then why did it become yours? Are you worried to question?
I haven't used Moneygram or WU. Which service do yall prefer and why?
I found the fees to be cheaper with MG but as that option has been removed for me i wont be using it again.

I have used both and had Minimal problems with either. I like to use the grocery store when I see a teenager running the counter. They could care less and show zero interest in my transactions.
