Hi,
I've been dealing with extreme anxiety ever since I can remember.
I've tried various forms of group and one-on-one therapy combined with a long list of anxiety/depression drugs since the early 1990's - all of this effort has produced very little results.
I'm really hoping this community can help me figure out a better solution. I'm almost 60 years old now and would really like to start enjoying life.
There's lots of information here. Will take me a while to figure out how to find the information that is most useful for someone in my situation.
I'm also terrified of breaking the rules - I've read them about a dozen times so far.

Welcome. I have severe PTSD from pretty much a life of hell. But, it all works out if one looks at it properly.
You have the perfect attitude my friend. You are willing to start living at sixty. Glorious. So many give up.
You don't need the rules and u have a good spirit and heart. Honestly, unless some nutjob threatens to rape me or says something horrifically cruel, we give second chances. and thirds.
You don't have it in ur spirit to deliberateely give up info to take down a vendor. You are nervous as you are new. I am known as tough but i have been doing forums now for almost a quarter of a century.
I promise to do my best to make sure we are keeping the best info up for you. I take heaven very seriously, and this is my ministry before the Lord I serve, to help others, as i am not able to get around and do pro bono law anymore.
Not to worry, precious. We all make mistakes and we are not out to ban you. We shall gently teach u to talk cautiously until u have ur fifty posts. then u may PM and have privacy with another member. a mod. me.
Not to worry. I feel i shall answer to God for each of the people he has placed in my path. I don't know special vendors, but for the special ones we have here. But, I am willing to talk with you if you get scared or such.

Thank you Charon - feeling much less anxious.
A friend told me how much it had helped him. We started talking about our frustration with doctors and then bonded from there. I didn't realize how much hope I invested in this community until my first post - then I got nervous.
Thanks for being so welcoming - it means a lot to me.

We are a very tight knit family and always willing to help those that truly in need of help... We mainly watch for those just trying to "get a buzz" and start trouble with those that are in trouble already!!
