SEATTLE (Reuters) -
A fugitive bank-robber- turned-actor has been arrested in Washington state after U.S. agents spotted his picture in a newspaper article about a low-budget horror film in which he plays an evil doctor, an official said on Monday.

Officers on a U.S. Marshals Service fugitive task force saw Jason Stange's picture in the
Olympian newspaper's feature last week on
horror movie "Marla Mae," said Jack Williams,
chief deputy for the agency's western district of Washington state. The officers, who had been tracking his disappearance for several months, identified him by the photo and a unique forearm tattoo, Williams said.

Marshals tracked him from a filming location to a store in Olympia, where he was arrested without incident on Friday, he said.

Stange was sentenced to nearly 10 years in
prison and five years supervised release in
2006 after pleading guilty to armed bank
robbery, Williams said. He was freed on
supervised release in 2014, but had been sought since he walked away from a halfway house in Spokane.

Brandon Roberts, the film's producer, said he
did not know Stange was a fugitive and that he
would not have cast him if he had known about
his past.

"This is a small-budget movie," he said. The
filming process is "a short blast of work, 12 hours a day, every single day. You get to know people well in a professional sense - what is their work ethic, do they show up on time - but beyond that we didn't know anything about his background."

"He did a good job. He was friendly. Well-liked.
We didn't know he was a criminal or anything
like that," Roberts added.

Stange plays the role of Dr. Lourdes, an evil
physician who targets the protagonist, in the film slated to be released in 2016, Roberts said.

here is a similar one Ice. thing is, pretty sure he was executed already. brutal serial killer.

and, he had the balls to appear on the dating game. Just as Ted Bundy taught my good sis and i that we could not tell a killer by his looks or mannerisms, this guy charmed young girls to their deaths. May he rot in hell.

At least Ted Bundy gave us an extensive knowledge into the mind of a serial killer. And we all could teach our kids to never help someone looking for a puppy, or with groceries if he had one arm in a sling. Forensic experts such as Candice deLong, FBI profiler, and Mathew Williams author on serial killers, warned us that women r predisposed to help those in need. And, that is how they get them.

Children are innocent and I would have fallen for the damned lost puppy routine also.

I have learned the hard way to never ever again be kind to a stranger and offer him a drink of water. Just a few years ago. I am very glad that sociopath/sexual predator died of a drug overdose within 3 months after he attacked me.

But, check out the kahunas? on this guy:

A convicted serial killer now awaiting sentencing once did time as Bachelor No. 1 on "The Dating Game," reports revealed.

Rodney Alcala, 66, who in February was found guilty of the murders of four women and a child in the late 1970s, appeared on the lighthearted game show in 1978 -- and won.

"He was creepy. Definitely creepy," fellow contestant Jed Mills, who sat next to Alcala on the show, told CNN.

Alcala already had been convicted for the 1968 rape of an 8-year-old girl, according to CNN, but that didn't stop him from making an impression on the female participant, Cheryl Bradshaw.

"We're going to have a great time together, Cheryl," he says with a grin.

Host Jim Lange introduces Alcala as "a successful photographer who got his start when his father found him in the darkroom at the age of 13, fully developed. Between takes, you might find him skydiving or motor-cycling."

There was something immediately off-putting about Alcala, Mills told CNN. While he was all charm and smiles on stage, he showed a more sinister side while in the green room with the other male contestants.

"He was quiet, but at the same time he would interrupt and impose when he felt like it," Mills said. "And he was very obnoxious and creepy -- he became very unlikable and rude and imposing as though he was trying to intimidate.

"I wound up not only not liking this guy ... not wanting to be near him ... he got creepier and more negative. He was a standout creepy guy in my life."

Though Alcala won the date with Bradshaw, she ultimately refused to go out with him, according to reports.

"One wonders what that did in his mind," crime profiler Pat Brown said in an interview with CNN. "That is something he would not take too well. They don't understand the rejection. They think that something is wrong with that girl: 'She played me. She played hard to get.' "

Alcala became a killer just months after his appearance on the show, prosecutors said.

He is now representing himself during the penalty phase of his trial in Santa Ana, Calif.

Extra: I love when defendants represent themselves. They always screw up royally.

He is still on Death Row the scum. And, he admitted to several more killings. Thank God those families will have some peace about bringing their baby girls home.
Wow ... The nerve of some people! They do still amaze me... I could never do something like that, for no apparent reason except self gratification or gain ...

Sure am glad though you got away from that idiot .. Now that is what prisons and death sentences are actually for ...

Any scum sucking lowlife bastage that would do ANY kind of harm to a kid should be placed in general population and his crimes exposed to the populace ... They would end up dying a thousand deaths over and over again ...

If they want to "fool" with anybody, they should pick on someone who may have a chance ... But no ... They choose to prey on innocent kids and women ... How freakin tough!! ..

My prayers are with you tonight Charon ... We here all hope all goes exceptionally well!!
thank u. i know, Ice.
