Hello folks,
I'd like to explain how to archive an online news article or any web content for that matter.
Reason: to enable users to post a link to any news article which can then be safely viewed by others of this forum.
'Archiving' will capture and store an article or other web content from the internet.
The archive process removes all spam, scripts and break's image links from origianl host site
After the article is archived, a new link is generated you can share here for others to access.
Additionally the original up loader of the article, for example a news outlet, will not receive any Ad Revenue when the archived link is clicked.
To archive an article simply copy the url of the web page you wish to archive. Then head over to 'archive.today'
Paste the article URL and hit 'Save'
When the archiving process is complete you will be presented with a link to the archived content.
The new link can be pasted here for others to view without spam, adds, spiders etc. etc
