Absolutely heartbreaking what we are witnessing with an unprovoked war and having to try to reason with a Maniacal leader who cares nothing for the people he is murdering or the army he has instructed to do so.
I only hope the sanctions will hurt the oligarchs wallet quick enough. I know They care more about their vacations in the south of France then people sleeping in makeshift bomb shelters in a train station.

Last minute training with mock wooden guns and fabricating Molotov Cocktails during an active invasion from the 2nd most powerful military in the world looks almost suicidal from over here. I'm all for these people defending their country and there's a possibility they can pull it off. But several days in now and we haven't seen anything close to what's possible from the Russian military. Hopefully we won't

An option and pathway to evacuate has been provided by Putin. That's about as good as it gets, unfortunately.

Mr hind. I have been following a few people in kiev and they all say that can still leave safely. Problem is if they stay they could be shot as Putin may target civilians if they are armed. Any many are armed now. Hope this doesn’t keep getting worse.

Pebbles1, sadly I think it’s getting worse by the day. Russia is now shelling and bombing civilian targets indiscriminately. There’s likely to be a lot of blood shed and even if Russia “prevails”, the Ukrainian resistance will continue to fight.
