Be careful as to what you click on,
even if it's in your mail...

I just copy/paste this "TN" at the real site and
they knew nothing about it ....

Things that make you go Hmmmmm..

First they sent me this...

I reckon I didn't respond fast enough...
So they sent this...

I do not have anything ordered like this and
neither "TN" works on the real site

Sooooooo.....

Oh they always try to get me to fall for this and things similiar.

However, we know if we are awaiting a package.

But good advice to not click on anything you are not prepared to fight off thereafter. *such as a virus*
Scummy, scammy, jerks! That looks like a pretty well done hoax. I usually just get text messages saying to click to get my parcel.
Yeah, I've had that one. We do have UPS in the UK, but I'd have noticed ordering anything through them as they are an expensive delivery company but when I have used them the email or text is very clear about the retailer etc so you know it is legit.
I was getting a lot of these during the middle of the pandemic, never clicked on any of them, spider senses sussed that one out fast.
Moron used a 19 character TN. Supposed to be 18.. Accnt. number is short 1 digit/letter smearing into the two digit service indicator, which woulda been 'Next Day Air USA C.O.D.

Whatta NOOB! Big Grin
This is but one I've gotten in the last few months

I got one recently too via text. Stupid me i clicked on it and it asked me for a cc link to get my delivery. Total scam!
I had put this one back a few weeks ago....

Now I never just click on links, but I right clicked it
and got the main site
(without all those 1000 letters/numbers at the end)

It went to wix(.)com ...
A free webpage building site
(it's got "paid plans" for bigger accts)

So, I still don't know which/what scammer this is,
but I'm fairly sure it is one....

Be cafeful.... The crooks are in the taking season

My 89 year old mother sent a $200 Amazon card to a friend by email and mistyped the email address by 1 character. She unfortunately sent the scratch off code. The recipient, being a scumbag by random luck, emailed back she needed $400 in additional codes and somehow convinced my mom to send them, thinking it was her friend responding

My sister,  who is a retired large city homicide Sargent happened to swing by at that moment and contacted Amazon who stopped the $400 transfer, however the original $200 was lost. I love my little sister, but I wouldn't ever describe her as warm and nice. At least she got the scammers email info, and unfortunately, after scaring the crap out of the scammers and making them abandon their email address, there's not much she could do to them. Amazon just sort of cares, the original card with the $200 code had been tossed, so it is a lesson learned.

My mother is financially comfortable, so thankfully her pride was the only lasting damage, but what kind of dumb luck is that? She now completely understands virtual gift cards and is embarrassed, Ironically, if the scammers were so destitute that they needed to steal $200 to survive, she would have given them $300 and a hug. And she would have meant it.
