Greetings, I am the Marmite Warrior.
I have been toiling away the last few weeks and the only respite has been tuning in to what has been billed as the greatest global tournament on earth. Its been pretty good having matches spaced out through the day that i can have on in the background, either on the tv or radio.
Firstly, anyone else watching?
Secondly, it seems this time around there is just as much focus on human rights etc. I think budweiser got banned in the stadiums about 3 days before!!! Anyone else around the world had as much focus on workers rights, gay rights or sharia law in the news?
Thirdly, what are your favourite sports to watch? I personally very much enjoy ice hockey, although where i am from the standards are sub par. In terms of participation, I'll try anything, although darts must be the one for me. Got the sweet spot of 6 beers and you become an instant pro.
