Several state out west are legalizing hallucinagens for theraputic use, Oregon for one has now legalized " psilocybin mushrooms"
There is quite a controvery about this within peer reviewed scientific studies indicating opposing results.
While I have no opinion on this matter and I have no experience with any such substances or qualifications as either a pharmacologist or a neuroscientist,
I am a bit facinated by these claims and wondered what others thought or heard?
A recent article in the scientific journal Scientific Reports found benenfits for lower levels of anxiety and depression:

There are other scientific journals that suggest that this practice may not be safe or effective, needs more study and control:
