from my experience, the Indian meds were not as potent as other generics that I prefer. Maybe I didn't have luck with the right generic or got a weak batch. I have tried them with good hopes and without bias, but found that it was hit or miss. they would either be spot on or weak. I am sure just like anything else, the company has a lot to do with it and their quality control procedures. Just from my personal experience, I prefer some of the euro vendors.

I will vouch for Ksalol or upjohns all day, which that opinion was the reason for the thread. If your meds are working well for you and they are indian generic, I am happy for you friend and glad you found a product you prefer. the two generics I mentioned just happen to be what I prefer and have had success with.

UpJohns and Gadors are the best in my opinion. Other than the pfizer original footballs, the two I've mentioned are the best.

I am a big ksalols fan.......but when talking about "best" deals.......Mylans must be in the conversation

How's is the quality of the alprax 2mg. I see that ss4u has a good deal on them. Any reviews would be great.

They're all good to me. I really can't tell the difference between Ksalols, Tranax, Mylan, or Alprax. If they aren't all exactly 1mg, they are all close enough. I don't see how anyone can tell a difference in any slight variances there may be. The Alprax are fine Pure, I've had several orders from ss4u.

I think the biggest reason that people notice the difference is that they get used to one brand of a product for a while. With chemistry/pharma its pretty interesting in that they can have the same chemical molecule, but they can vary +/- 20% in active ingredient amount.

Bigger than that though, is the little secret that not everyone is aware of, but that all chemical structures are not the same even with the same chemical, alprazolam for example. Different companies can have a different makeup of it, even though it is still the same chemical alprazolam, its chemical structure can vary slightly from mfg to mfg. (assuming all quality controls the same and same level of active ingredient)

Then when you add in different binders and fillers into the equation, that can change how a person's body perceives the drug, and the bioavailability can be affected as well because of binders/fillers and chemical makeup of the active ingredient. So someone gets used to taking one brands version of a medication and then change, they have a different reaction to the med. One may get more tired and sedated, or may get more anxiolytic relief and not tired, or may have paradoxial reaction where they are hyper or get energy from it, all from changing from one to another.

This is a fairly broad explanation of it, but it can be researched more in depth. Just thought I would put out a synopsis if people are interested can look into it further. Some are more sensitive to this, and thus some people will notice bigger differences between diff generics than others. I think that is why some are more adamant about one vs another that other people are (outside of the psychological aspect)

ksaols are #1 here then the Upjohn but as popster said for the $ mylans hands down

You know, I've never noticed much difference. I did get some years back that were probably sugar pills. Other than that, they all affect me the same. My dosage is quite low.
