Have had to get 2 new passwords in last couple days, the first I switched using my control panel. I think I will just try and stick with the randomly generated one if that is OK? Also IOP now goes into junk mailbox instead of regular e-mail box on my Macbook Air? Computer caveman now signing out! Thanks for any suggestions-FF
Hi FF,
Using the generated password is fine.

Far as the spam, I've noticed this from time to time and it usually occurs after an update, possibly your email client. Try going into your spam box and check off any iop-list messages marked as spam, to shift them to your inbox. Hopefully that'll do the trick.

Yes I was going to suggest same thing, perhaps even adding more random elements into your password never hurts but as mr Hind wrote. If messages are going to spam it could be your client? or a new filter that was put in place by your provider. Lots of factors can be @ play **places tin foil hat back on**

it would be nice to understand why that switch did happen though.

You can also add the email you usually get notifications from as a contact. (will save you stress)
I always have to look under “All Mail” in order to find mail from iop for some reason. Thanks for that solution. I am not techy.
