Need help with Benzo - Nostormos - 08-02-2016

Not sure if this is the right place for this.

I suffer from the occasional panic attack and I doesn't help that I am in a high pressure sales job that is 100% commission based. "YOU EAT WHAT YOU KILL" so to speak. It can be nerve wrecking when the bills come due.

I would like to make an order Diazepam or Alprazolam to help me through the tough times but this stuff scares me. I have an addictive personality but knock on wood I have not developed a problem yet. From what I understand about b3nzos, they are highly addictive and W/D are legendary.

Is Et!zolam in the same category? I have never taken any b3nzos before and looking for some advice. I am thinking placing an order K!ng C@lm because it can still be purchased legally. Does anyone have experience with this?

I want to stay safe and avoid the seizures highway. Please help. Thanks

Nos

RE: Need help with Benzo - Charon - 08-02-2016

Propranolol is not a benzo. aka Inderal. Its a beta blocker to slow down one's heart rate slightly.

My medical doctor sister taught me it was a trick all doctors used: they would take an Inderal before a presentation or public interaction. It helps stop tremors. Fear. It does not help with social anxiety per se although some are promoting it for this purpose because benzo usage is now frowned upon in some states.

Do research. But, I have taken valium for tremors since i was 15, and when my vendor cannot get thru, this time i survived on one Inderal a day.

(My body goes into fight or flight mode. That would now be deemed panic attacks I realize.)

You must research. I am a doctor of law. Not of medicine. But, if you are not clinically depressed or continuously anxious, its best to use a med that one takes only when needed. Not necessarily daily.

Please talk to others. This is just my experience. (I remain on valium because i have tremors and seizures from Lupus and MS combo.)

Good luck.

Sorry to hear that Charon. The Lup and MS sounds horrible. So would Diazepam or Alprazolam qualify for occasional use or are they more a monthly maintenance drug?

Either can be used occasionally. I like Charons suggestion of the beta blockers. Benzos can have cognitive effects some more than others  so I don't think that would help you while trying to make your sales. Might want to keep all your wits about you.

I see. Thanks for the advise. I do take Amb!en to help me sleep. Would Beta blocker be ok to take in conjunctions?

Valium is a maintenance med for me since i was 15 and the tremors started. After a dental implant which brought on teenage lupus.

Once one has one autoimmune, one can get any and all other autoimmunes.

I also have seizures which the valium will prevent. So, unless my vendor has gone down, it is supposed to be daily.

I have talked to many of u guys and gals over my 20 something years doing forums.

It is my nature, to suggest that one try the least intrusive medicine possible to start.

I am not sure why. But, I can take the scripted three valium a day for thirty years of so, and never have to up the dosage.

But, I hear of so many that try a med. And, it is far more appealing than u will realize until it is too late.

My own sister stopped practicing medicine for a couple years because she felt xanax was a safe benzo for her stress levels as pres of three NYC hospitals.

It can become a habit to take a pill in anticipation of anxiety. When u know what client u will be facing.

Just be careful. And, whereas doctors put many on xanax as they claimed it was far less addictive than valium, they have since changed their minds. Withdrawals are horrific. Can cause death. Can last for months.

Its my nature to take on challenges to defeat them.

But, not with medicines. I use them for the purpose intended.

Only you will know if you can handle say a valium only when the business meeting is gonna be a beyotch. And, not take them on regular days.

This is a long road. Many of us went thru several months of vendors not delivering. Some delivery problems in certain areas are continuing.

You sound to be reasonable. And, wise.

So u know, the gvt is making it very hard to get benzos now. Both from doctors and online.

I have read thousands of posts by people whom wished they have never started with a benzo.

Good luck. (We are a drug forum, but, as a minister, a mom, and as an attorney, I tell the young people if u use that med now, usually a PK, what will be left for u to take when the real pain comes?)

And, that part is cuz I am a mom. I care about all the members here.

We are family.

You will know what to do. (Hell, u may have to try a few to get it outta ur system. But, you will know what u need.)

Oh, I was told i have an addictive personality when young, so I was always acutely careful to avoid certain pitfalls.

I am not judging. I just want u to see all options and possibilities before u start on this road. It is getting very rocky of late, even for those with medical records galore.

I have faith in you.

Thanks for your sage advise. Everything in moderation is the key. I will try a sample pack and see how it goes. Thanks again.

My lord, u have done more reading than many a pioneer member. I am impressed.

You are almost at ur fifty posts. (The few I saw in welcome thread don't count, sorry to say, but they count toward us knowing u better.)

Very impressive. Sage advice from you, my friend. Good luck.

Thanks. Trying to get educated before I take the plunge. And dadgumit, 50 is a hard number to reach for someone that doesn't have a lot to say.
