Introduction - Syntax1981 - 03-16-2018
Hey everyone, I just wanted to take the time and introduce myself. (I guess this is the part where I say I like long walks on the beach and wine?)
I am from Virginia but have called Southern California my home for the last 11 years. I work as a news photographer and enjoy art, hiking, cooking (lots) and collecting random antiques like cloisonnee from Saturday antique markets here in Ocean Beach. I have a partner and we have lived together in a craftsman house in a great area of SD for nearly 5 years. I also teach video production to kids in all grades, which I actually find the most rewarding out of anything I've ever done in my professional career. Needless to say I stay quite busy and think this added interaction and forum could benefit y ability to be more "social" online apart from Facebook.It appears upon an initial glance and some sifting through previous posts, that the folks here are friendly, passionate about life and intelligent to boot!
Also respect! That is such a vital quality to have in any environment, whether work or social. It seems the mods here are straightforward and no nonsense, yet friendly. I feel this is the best kind of balance to have in an authoritive position. I look forward towards interacting and meeting some of you.
