RE: Ambien (zolpidem) - Lunar - 12-19-2015 Thanks Lechter, I've tried lots of natural remedies, but nothing seems to work like Zolpidem and Phenibut. Swanson Vitamins makes a proprietary blend called Sleep Essentials that will work in a pinch. But tolerance builds quickly with that too. If you ever try it, start with the recommended dose obviously, but it didn't work for me until I downed 4 of those big herb filled horse pills. I feel for you man. Sure, everybody's been tired from time to time but going weeks w/o getting through a full sleep cycle, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I know there's a whole world of benzos out there used for sleep, but that's about all I know. If anybody's got some input on those I'd love to hear it. (Background note: This is a relatively recent development for me and I'm currently trying to get to the bottom of it and fix the root cause. The pilz are just to help get me by until that time comes.) RE: Ambien (zolpidem) - Lunar - 12-19-2015 Thanks Audrey. Yeah, there is a clinic, but I hope that wont be necessary. I'm pretty sure I know what's causing it. It's kind of a combination of things like stress and a couple different pains. This was a weird summer for me. Thanks for all the good input. The price seems to vary widely, from as low as .35 a tab to 2$ and the only difference I can tell so far seems to be its geographic location. What's up with that? RE: Ambien (zolpidem) - Marino1990 - 12-27-2015 Ttm2u has great ambien, a close relative of mine takes it and couldnt afford to get it anymore because of something with their insurance, but theyre really happy with the zolpidem that ttm2u offers. Just thought id share that w ya. Good luck RE: Ambien (zolpidem) - Marino1990 - 12-27-2015 (12-19-2015, 03:01 PM)Lunar Wrote: Thanks Lechter,I have had a pretty good experience with Restoril (Temazepam) Back when my grandfather passed, I had a lot of trouble falling asleep and I first began the OTC, herbal stuff like melatonin, valerian root, etc...but that didnt keep me asleep, I would still toss and turn all throughout the night. Plus if you're already taking something like zolpidem, OTC sleeping meds probably might not help much. Anyways, you asked for someones input on benzodiazepines. Sorry to get off track. Like I stated before, I tried numerous different things but nothing seemed to get the job done until I tried the benzos. Temazepam put me to bed but I would still wake up constantly. I increased my dosage from 15mg to 30mg and never once had trouble sleeping nor staying asleep. Plus, it never gave me that weird groggy feeling in the morning. I would give that a try. Good luck finding something that works for you! RE: Ambien (zolpidem) - zorada9 - 12-28-2015 As an alternative to Zolpidem I have researched low dose Mirtazapine (10mg or less) with very favorable results. I only use it once in a while, but keep it in my supply for when I really need the help to sleep. In my experience, I try to alternate the sleep meds to keep tolerance at bay. cheers! But xanax regardless of how much I take leaves me feeling a bit off the next day and I'm really not a fan. Temazepan doesn't do this? Is it OTC?(he asks hopefully without having googled it to find out on his own) Who has it? Thanks RE: Ambien (zolpidem) - Flippity - 01-02-2016 zolpidem: servicesolution4u has it. Great prices, too. I placed an order before christmas with someone else but I think I might have to place one with ss4u very soon.. ss4u hardly ever fails. quick and painless process. lol
