Lemmy Kilmister, founding member and frontman of Motörhead. has died.

He was 70 years old.

News of his death was first reported by radio and TV host Eddie Trunk, who was a longtime friend of Lemmy. Several others have since confirmed the news, including Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who wrote on Twitter, “Lost one of my best friends, Lemmy, today. He will be sadly missed. He was a warrior and a legend. I will see you on the other side.”

In a statement posted to Facebook, Motörhead wrote, “There is no easy way to say this… our mighty, noble friend Lemmy passed away today after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer. He had learnt of the disease on December 26th, and was at home, sitting in front of his favorite video game from
the Rainbow which had recently made it’s
way down the street, with his family. We
cannot begin to express our shock and
sadness, there aren’t words. We will say more in the coming days, but for now, please… play Motörhead loud.”

Meadowlark Lemon, whose halfcourt hook shots, no-look behind-the-back passes and vivid clowning were marquee features of the feel-good traveling basketball show known as the Harlem Globetrotters for nearly a quarter-century, died on Sunday in Scottsdale, Ariz.

He was 83.

Wayne Rogers, the wisecracking Korean War combat surgeon "Trapper John" McIntyre on TV's "M*A*S*H," died Thursday in Los Angeles at age 82, his publicist said.

The cause was complications of pneumonia, Rona Menashe told The Associated Press and Reuters. William Wayne McMillan Rogers III played the wry sidekick to Alan Alda's Hawkeye Pierce for only the first three years of the series' historically popular 11-season run on CBS. The character was originated by Elliott Gould in the 1970 Robert Altman movie of the same name and continued later in a spinoff series, "Trapper John M.D.," played by Pernell Roberts.

Goodbye Trapper....

Natalie Cole, An 'Unforgettable' Voice for Decades, Dies at Age 65


"It is with heavy hearts that we bring to you all the news of our Mother and sister's passing. Natalie fought a fierce, courageous battle, dying how she lived ... with dignity, strength and honor," her sisters, Timolin and Casey Cole, and son, Robert Yancy, said in the statement. "Our beloved Mother and sister will be greatly missed and remain unforgettable in our hearts forever."

The daughter of Nat "King" Cole built a chart- topping career with hits such as "This Will Be," "Inseparable" and "Our Love." She fought health problems for years and received a kidney transplant in 2009 after developing hepatitis, which she blamed on past intravenous drug use.
