Alot of good info Bio. Do alot of you guys sit packages by your door for a set time before opening even going so far as marking it return to sender? I'm always so excited like it's Christmas morning.
Should I be a bit more cautious? I usually am just checking that it's all there and no substitutions. After a long wait I've never even considered waiting even longer.

It is not easy to get a pmb without id, its almost impossible. At one time it could be done but they have cracked down on that a whole bunch. There are terrorists you know.
Have it sent to you in your name with no sig required. Then leave it in the mailbox and take it in later. If anyone comes around asking if you got anything suspicious in the mail, hand it over. The jig is up at that point and handing over an unopened letter will cut you some slack. May get you off the hook completely. Other than that I agree with everything in the post. Good post
I agree with Grandote. The only problem is several places can only ship with signature required.

Edit: just to be clear, I'm not asking this in a sarcastic tone. I'm genuinely curious if some domestic packages go through customs somehow.

Which number is that Sent from a foreign country? i couldnt find it my friend.
Sometimes packages dont go through customs if its an envelope size.Domestic packs dont go through customs.

I busted out laughing while reading your reply about putting a mailbox off the state route! Even if it was a dirt road, which exist everywhere just about anywhere in rural country.
The fact is, no matter what, if you make an order, anywhere. You are at the mercy of the shipper. Correct me if I am wrong?
One idea I pontificated was, making a PDF version of this list, say, send it to my purveyor of choice and all issues will be solved?
Or
One can go as far as taking the list, copying, pasting it in your text author of choice, then make an HTML page where you can place it on a remote server, then when you place your order, you can give the purveyor a link to your list? That would be the best way to go about this entirely. I am sure?? What do you think?

I do not mean ill feelings on the list. I think the list is very comprehensive and a five star at that. I was just throwing some ideas out. I think the list is only worthy if everyone participating would follow the protocol, as it is measured by this amazing list. Great work! Thank you for sharing.
