How's your kitty cat? WE just lost our 18yo boy right before Christmas. Looking at new kitty's now, I hate a kittyless home..

I am so sorry. 18 yrs is an awesome run but tis never the same.
i KNOW u will see him again.
What joy to look into the eyes of a new cat and teach him/her to trust you and love you.
I am sorry. In my last rental we could not have cats. The LL was a big shot construction worker. he liked to use big yellow trucks.
He would dig gigantor piles of dirt and place in trucks and dump it on the premises. And every nite, 8-10 inch rats ran thru my house.
As a gang. One did not try to stop em. When we were leaving there, i saw they raised litters in my mink coat. Had to throw it out cuz a friend in medical profession said dont let those germs get near u.
They sell fake lifelike cats for people disabled or in homes. I almost thought about it. Then we moved here and Prince Harrison and i spent first summer in backyard becoming friends.
He sleeps on me daily. I don't want to ever live without a cat again.

Chsron im sure you can get some anti parasitic drug for that cat to ingest that makrs its blood not so desirable to mites ticks .
A steroid like predisone would get the ear right if hes a tom they fight other toms all the time thats why ther faces noses and ears are always injured .but when he comes home its to rest and be nurtered by you .
I was not at all surprised when i seen the post .i pick up strays and rescue and foster sorry pastencens .
We couldnd see an animal in pain

not yet, nonoo. so the houseshare put a handmade collar on him so he cannot scratch his wound as it heals. he goes thru the house trying to escape. not gonna happen.
Hopefully we can get him altered soon. The free places for feral altering are shut down.
His wound is healing. We still have antibiotics, PKs and meds for him.
He will make it, I pray.
Determine wee devil to get back out but once we move at end of month, he shall be walked on a leash until he knows the area. There are really no cats downstate to where we are moving. But altering is a priority cuz other ferals get so jealous of him. I fed them also just not of late cuz harry would escape. And i saw Mr. Grey whack him in his healing cut the other day.
The neighbors across the road feed the strays. they set up their garage for them to sleep there.
It will be well. As I pray u will be nonoo.

poor prince harry had the stupid harness on him cuz DH wanted to walk him on a lead. One does not walk a feral cat on a lead particulary when its so thin. would not hold him.
DH put the AC in. and harrison escaped yesterday. no sights of him at all.
he should have used the strongest tapes possible as harrison escaped via AC 3 yrs ago when he came in.
I pray i am not hearing from the Lord properly but now He says harry is with him.
If you aim to take in a feral at all, make sure u handle him as a feral. They are not petty love bugs. They don't like their freedom taken away.
the bitches at the emergency hospital when harry had been attacked by another cat, wanted six thousand dollars. i said no i always did cat rescue. and the bitch said: i hope he doesn't die.
the stupid harness DH put on him could have caused another animal to grab harry.
he is with the Lord now it seems.
