And speaking of waiting...When I went to get the mail yesterday I noticed a pink slip of paper on my front lawn, one of those USPS "We tried to deliver" slips - Just lying on the lawn, not even in the mailbox! So I drove over to the USPS distribution center to see if I could pick it up, and the guy tells me that it is still in the carrier's vehicle, and she's not due back from her shift until 5PM - And THEIR office closes at 4PM. I asked him if she could redeliver today,and first he said no, then one of the guys working next to him told the guy I was talking to "Just have him sign the pink slip here, give him a copy, and when the parcel comes back in this evening someone will tag it for delivery tomorrow, it will go right in his mailbox since he's signing for it now."
Sure enough, when I checked the mail today, there it was, unmolested.
I'm going to ask for THAT guy from now on.

I do know they send OTC meds but those don't count..
However I did get 1000. 50mg benadryl from Amazon for as much a meal for two at mickyDz..
While at the store you pay 5 bucks for 25..
I think it's the psychological aspect of using bilsters. For a 25mg Benadryl..
Its insane.. I never buy OTC meds at pharmacies or grocery stores anymore..

A bit unrelated, but this thread is already lax as heck
Just last week, I went into my local USPS office with two pink slips of my mother's to pick up. When I walk inside, I hear a rooster crowing. This is one of the few times where I "wtf" and have a quick reality check; am I dreaming? Am I on drugs? -No, as I turn to a lady in the back of the room who's preparing a parcel of her own, and I inquire, "Pardon, but I must be hearing things. Is there a chicken somewhere around here?" She chuckles and concurs with me.
Who the hell buys a single rooster, via the USPS for god sake hahaha.

My usual postman doesn't ring or knock :/ I wish I lived in a neighborhood which is first on a particular postal route; I couldn't imagine retrieving my mail at 9am hahah

this gives me a whole lot of chuckles--just imagining trying to stuff a crowing rooster into a box! i have a friend who actually just received a shipment of baby chicks for his farm!

Went to the post office this afternoon.. inserted and turned the key.... slowly opened the door with a tremendous amount of anticipation.... Damn..... No Rooster....... LOL
