When totally out of all benzos and you start to feel the shakes. Keep on hand some Passion Flower Dried Leaves.
Make a very large glass of tea that. Let it seep in very hot almost boiling water, until you see a good color change.
It is a natural benzo, and you will need a few cups of tea, but it will defiantly keep you from a seizure.
It can help for a few days.
Very important.... there is only supportive treatment for diazepam overdose.(Valium) that means intubation and pressure support until and if you make it. Be careful if you run out of you normal and supplement with V if that's all you have and you do not normally take them

I hadn't heard of passionflower before for this purpose. Just did some research and found actual medical research and it's legit.
Do you know if the tinctures or capsules have the same effect?

I always make sure I have enough of my required benzo to get me through any 'storm' and plan on keeping it that way until the day I finally taper off of it.
I remember when the Air Mail Group where my go-to, for my med and they one day just disappeared.
I felt the worry consume me for a few minutes before thinking "ok, this is it, the taper starts now"
If that was the case (and I had been forced into a taper- I didn't know much about IOP's back then) I would have managed to do it at my chosen speed.

I have always done my best to have back-ups, rotate vendors, keep adequate supply on hand.
First began problems with payment transfers, then certain carriers to be avoided, and many dependable vendors couldn't continue as before...
Past yr or two seems very rough to me.
More problems with pmt methods. Constant concerns re: quality and dependability reported. Delivery delays.
Sites disappearing, my go-to email vendor gone, postal issues for other vendors, and first LL's ever last yr (four!)
? customs crack down ?
I am down to one vendor I feel comfortable with right now.
And that makes me Very Uncomfortable.
Believe many of us are scrambling right now, just to keep our heads above water.
Hoping good vendors will survive this onslaught.

Wise words shared that I will take to heart. It is tough to build a reserve but we all know we need to. As regards to backup vendors I'm working on it. I've learned from the issues with the two big vendors that I have to diversify or suffer the consequences. I'm trying to soak up some wisdom as I hate always having to learn the hard way. But hey one way or another you gotta learn. Also word of warning, it is that time of the year so be ready for the dreaded big ops. Don't let it catch you with your pants down. I hope everyone has already been preparing squirrelling away they're nuts for winter.

Love this thread. TMI is rampant at times. Only way to get what you want - research. Sorry to say it but no way around it. I'm no big Whig on this forum but have been around for a while. I just had to read page upon page of posts to research something I'm looking for.
Then, once you find a good vendor, treat them like gold. They're not a dime a dozen. Just like you, they don't want to get ripped off!
And of course, think ahead. Good to keep a small stockpile of necessary vitamins should an order fall through.
Post once and ask for a schedule 1 med? Not good practice.
