serotonin syndrome is a nasty thing, made me feel like a real dummy, hard to even hold a conversation with a person.

I see more and more people finding incredibly difficult t wane off trams. And I am afraid of this sh*t. Having a wds of 5-6 days is another thing than a wds of 2 weeks that exhaust body and soul. I prefer the sort direct way having to deal with one kind receptor not 2-3 at the same time. I will reveal a valuable info as I get it here . Cymbalta can be of great help from Tram WDS for short time .It helps a lot with the serotonin issues . And u need a slow tapering down if you are a chronic user, really slow. 50mg off a week most . But again it will take a lot of courage to get rid of it. It takes more time and more effort . But it is not impossible to win at the end. It is a matter of will. And close care sometimes by those who are willing to help you.

I used to take 250mg (150 in am/100 in pm) and was doing pretty well on it for chronic pain. But I did start to notice after about a year I would get these left-sided headaches almost every day, would add 2 ibuprofen about an hour after the 1st dose and be fine for the rest of the day. I am prone to these headaches anyway, but Trams did seem to exacerbate them after awhile. The general feeling I found almost identical to low doses of suboxne. Any pain med was/is troublesome to discontinue once one has gotten used to having it (ibuprofen included). But i found trams way easier to taper than hyrdos.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones....I was taking trams for probably 8 months straight a few years ago, albeit a small dose but got cut off in a sudden....no w/d for me but like I said, small dose, and it was years ago.....now when I get it it's only a few at a time...
