You cannot compare Benzos from SL with Benzos from the best of our sources here simply because it is not fare we have 2-3 top quality ventors here not any home made Benzos like SL. Lorezep@m is my first choice if I use Benzos which happens on rare occasions and I am speacking for myself . Tavor brand name is the best loraz you can Rx or find . 2,5 mg is the best of it and very fast for spasticity when taken SubL. . The problem is you can't find good quality Loraz most of the times but somewhere here in our forum there is a ventor with top notch Loraz and it worths the money . Slight confusion on my part-are Tavor designed as a SubL or is that just the way you use it? I have heard of lorazepam that was meant for SubL but the generic I get is just a tab. It does not really matter, I take one and wait until I get sleepy but a SubL would be interesting. Never really had a problem with most generics in general (pharmaceutical not "pressed). RE: Lorazepam (Ativan) - Most Effective? - Popster - 04-19-2017 This is a FYI: Alps are not water soluble.....so it doesn't matter: swallow, chew, or subL....or whatever. They are alcohol soluble. Loraz is water soluble. RE: Lorazepam (Ativan) - Most Effective? - Rattzo - 04-20-2017 (04-13-2017, 07:24 PM)nickolyko Wrote: SL are pressed ones you should now , not originals. Devils advocate here, not an endorsement- I personally would not order from Jim when I k now I can get factory goods from our vendors here. But for example his D10 vals are closer to 12-15mg. SL's pressies are more potent in some cases because they are not using top line equipment- I always refer to his meds as "bathtub" as in he whips up a batch in his bathtub. LOL I read further up this page and see that I basically the same thing 2 weeks ago- gotta love the benzo time machine, unfortunately it only goes in 1 direction. In my experience mylan benzos are garbage- bottom of the food chain. Loraz and val particularly- the kpins with the M in the square are the exception to the rule. I do not use benzos in any recreational way since I only take as needed for my anxiety so either mine were very strong or they are a powerful benzo with the short acting way. So be careful and just to make sure everyone understands I could at that time take 20 xanny at a time with no issue. Jennachell......10 2mg tabs could be considered reckless disrespect for your body...imo. Please be careful...be more thoughtful about yourself. I very much appreciate you sharing and don't want to inhibit you from posting. Keep that in mind as I voice my concern...it is not to criticize you...One of the reasons for having a forum is to learn....of different opinions along with the facts. 20 xannys is off the chart....in my world...and without explanation please accept that I know a thing or two about meds. Stay safe...above all else. RE: Lorazepam (Ativan) - Most Effective? - cmdline - 06-12-2017 its always benzo wars on which brand benzo works best,in reality its often up to person's body, experiences. say one first gotten xanax and took it for a while ,then any other benzo will seem weak until body builds it up and adjusts. for example ive been taking valium long time, then tried bromazepam another ancient benzo and if i didnt knew which was which id say both were equal. In general with short acting benzos my opinion is that people expect that instant kick, with slow acting benzos its reverse they want equally smooth reaction over the course of day where they feel calm. all decent quality benzos work, but if you have previous benzo experience or tolerance then often times one seems better then another due to it. Agree with above. For many people xanax is the gold standard fast acting and seems to induce "euphoria" in most people I have met-moving to a slower acting/longer acting product may not make one feel the same. People will vary there is a benzo that really does not work for me-godsend for others. A good quality benzo will work on anyone-but there are differences between them there are many comparison charts if you seach. RE: Lorazepam (Ativan) - Most Effective? - andybones - 07-05-2017 I've been lucky enough to stick with my 1 vendor and same branded candies. From Serb. Online, we need to always be careful. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with Ativ@n (seems to be the 1 benz0 that I don't, lol) but I fully agree, Clonaz - minty, xanz - nasty bitterness. di@z - sweet. Stay safe, all! Happy late 4th of July. I hope everyone had fun! RE: Lorazepam (Ativan) - Most Effective? - Furyan66 - 07-10-2017 I tried Ativan as it is probably the one Benzo I have not really used on regular basis. I usually use Alprazolam to keep my sleeping and PTSD in check. My PTSD for the past 2 months or so has really been rattling my cage BIGTIME lately and also having major issues sleeping again. Gave Ativan a try and it did help me to sleep much better maybe just the change in medication and tolerance I had built up. Now that I have been taking them about a week I am finding that now I am getting "Grumpy" as my friends tell me and was wondering if the grumpiness is a result due to the change in meds or Ativan's just don't like me. Anyone else ever have issues like this?? Peace All RE: Lorazepam (Ativan) - Most Effective? - Furyan66 - 07-12-2017 (07-11-2017, 05:36 AM)longtimeuser Wrote:Hey, No not usually Grumpy person at all. A LOT of emotional ups and downs with PTSD but with all the Benzo's I have used in the past Ativan seems to bring out the "Grumpy" in me. Gonna give it a bit more time and if continuous will discontinue use and see what happens(07-10-2017, 06:29 PM)Furyan66 Wrote: I tried Ativan as it is probably the one Benzo I have not really used on regular basis. When I first started having panic attacks I was prescribed it. Worked great for about 2 hrs and that was it. Disolved under my tounge and tasted sugary. These were from my local brick and mortar pharmacy. I used to get extras from Honduras a long time ago and they were identical to the ones I got locally. But those days are long gone. I've never taken any from online vendors so I can't speak on them but I do know they work for their intended purpose. Just short lived and the tolerance builds rather quickly. |
