IP Vanish is top quality!

I use VPN as security measure.

At this point, I pretty much use a VPN for everything I do on my personal computers. I am now extremely skeptical of any public wifi system. I use a VPN service that has a few security measures built in. I also use Kaspersky virus software that helps with ad blocking a web anonymity. Others knock Kaspersky but they are the real deal.

After  looking around and trialling a few VPN's, I settled on NORD. It's easy to install and really cheap at $2.75/month for a 2 year subscription.
I've configured NORD to start with Windows - so now I'm protected from the Australian Government's decree that our ISPs collect and keep IP info on every client for years.

I fire up TOR when I decide to visit my favorite IOP's or to explore new suggested ones.
What TOR lacks in speed, it makes up for with the extra security.

Proton encrypted email for orders when possible (and it is being demanded by more and more vendors - which is only sensible for everyone.)
It took me a while to get my head around all of this, but it's been absolutely worth the effort.

I'm coming to terms with Bitcoin at the moment. Soon I'll be on top of that and all of my 'activities' (as small scale as they are) will be completely off the radar. Big Grin

I always use a VPN and go to Mozilla's private window when browsing. I don't really know if any private windows actually work, maybe someone could inform me. Thanks

Some Vpn will not work while in incognito browsing. You might wanna look into that.

However as you say my friend, these days one can never be too careful, so that VPN you are using has some great reviews....

I think I may just have to look into that one ... Thanks Furyan for that heads up Smile

Research all your options ant that should be all you need.

I too also use an encrypted email system. I figure you can never be too cautious...

Peace All
I use that one as well never had a problem with it slowing my internet down. I just have to remember to turn it on ?

I use a VPN called PIA, Private Internet Access. They don't log. I use it (when I remember to turn it on, lol) for things like IOP and other sensitive researchy things. I also pretty much assume that anything I do or say can be tracked eventually if somebody really wants to, I have enough white-hat hacker friends to understand the big picture. But we don't have to make it easy for anyone Smile

With thor is impossible to use google, so I use a VPN plus, of course , antivirus updated.

3 cheers for Proton VPN.
