Ozzy, 67, and Sharon, 63, met in the early ’70s when she was 18. Her father, Don Arden, was managing Ozzy’s band, Black Sabbath, at the time. The pair tied the knot in Maui, Hawaii, in July 1982 and had three children — Aimee, 32, Kelly, 31, and Jack, 30.

The couple’s marriage was plagued by the heavy metal singer’s drug and alcohol use for years. In 1989, he was arrested for attempted murder after trying to strangle his wife while intoxicated. Sharon didn’t press criminal charges, but Ozzy briefly entered drug rehabilitation for three months.

The “Crazy Train” musician relapsed in 2013, but later explained to his dedicated fans that he and Sharon were working through it.

“For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs,” he wrote on Facebook at the time. “I was in a very dark place and was an asshole to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober. Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I am just trying to be a better person. I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my bandmates for my insane behavior during this period……… and my fans.

Just my humble opinion -  I don't see Ozzy making it without Sharon.

She's the glue that kept him half-way together.  Again, just an opinion.

Yeah I have to agree also. He needs Sharon. I saw Sabbath in February and he looked healthy, at least for Ozzy. I hope he keeps it together, been a fan for many years.

It's sad.  To stay together for so long thru so many things, you could see there was really love between them.

I have to wonder if now that Sharon has raised their children, she is just Tired of having a "Perpetual Child"  ?

I too am very sad to hear this about Ozzy & Sharon.

Sharon is co-host on the show "The Talk" which is on weekdays.

She wasn't on the show today because of all the media coverage of this mess.

I am interested to see what she says when she returns.

Ozzy won't make it without Sharon & that upsets me.

Over the years I've come to respect Sharon's many fine qualities, such as her huge heart.
She fiercely defends those she loves, I admire that.
A very strong woman
Hate to see her pain during this.
I believe she will be dignified in her grief.  


Ozzy?  Imagine the loss of her presence after 35+ yrs  Balancing him ?
He has enough difficulty with her around.
I wish him well.  Perhaps his children will help him thru this.

Best Story Outcome (for us dreamers) - Ozzy goes to rehab, gets himself together, wins Sharon back and they live happily ever after.

I watched Sharon's show "The Talk" today & she was back on there today.

She said that Ozzy was living at their home & she is the one who has moved out.

She made no mention of another woman.

Sharon just said that she needs time to figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life. She said that at 63, she has had it & she cannot do it anymore.

I hope that like Dancing Wolf said, they could work it out & live happily ever after.

i heard nothing about another woman. i think he is too family oriented now. and getting older.

i think its sharon wanting to see if she missed anything in life. now would be a good time to know that she picked a good life for her. she really wanted him as her husband. she made a good wife and mother. that is all there is to life, IMHO and all.

love. they complimented each other perfectly. she just has to get the what if? feeling out of her system. ozzy got around when younger. she did not.

so, we never know. but, its like a middle aged crisis for sharon.

just guessing as u guys are. i no longer watch them.

but i did. good luck to them both. i think they will get back together. he really exhibited a loving side around her. he will win her back.
