Attention all fans of beer and relaxing holidays: your two greatest passions are colliding in the form of one glorious location.
Forget Disneyland, this may be the happiest place on earth. Maybe. If you’re really into beer.
After attempting (and failing) to build a beer-themed hotel in Scotland, BrewDog is now planning to take their dreams of a beer hotel across the pond.
They’ve launched an IndieGoGo campaign to fund the creation of The Doghouse, a beer-themed hotel in Colmbus, Ohio.

They’re hoping to raise $75,000 (£61,300) to fund the project, which is described as ‘the beeriest place on earth’. Or a beer-themed hotel with a craft beer brewery on site.

If they manage to raise the money and build their vision, BrewDog’s Doghouse will have all kinds of snazzy beer-related features.
Each room is themed around beer, designed to give you an education on the craft beer process, and has a view of sour beer foeders.
There are beer breakfasts. Beer on tap in every room. Beers in fridges in the shower, so you can enjoy a classic shower beverage.

There are even hot tubs filled with beer, so you can lay back and bathe in hoppy goodness.
Oh, and barley massages, hop face masks, pedicures, and other spa treatments. Because enjoying beer and needing a pamper are not mutually exclusive.
It all sounds glorious.

Of course, there’s currently no guarantee that the hotel will actually become a reality. But considering that BrewDog has already raised more than half of its target, The Doghouse seems like it might one day be a thing.
If you contribute in its early stages, you’ll get perks including a free night’s stay or a trip to the beer spa (only if you donate quite a bit of money, mind you).

So if you are truly committed to craft beer in all its greatness, it might be worth paying up.
Or you can recreate the experience of The Doghouse at home by drinking a beer in the shower (or pouring a bathtub of beer), smearing hops on your face, and reading facts about the brewing process. Easy.

I am chuckling reading the end of this article
Oh and thanks for the pictures of the proposed project Ice.

Suppose I would rather drink it  Big Grin Than bathe in it.

me mother and me grandmother told me they used beer to wash their hair. for awhile. before i knew them.

never found out if this was truth or not.

but bathe in it? not so sure. i had a sip of beer at age 2, from me grandmother, and i hated it then and never went near it again.

but the idea is cool.
