Dagnabbit we have become popular. If a stranger purporting to be IOPLIst.org emails u or PMs you, and tells u that u must reset ur password thru their link, please don't fall for it.
IF U GET LOCKED OUT, CONTACT US AT HOME PAGE. BOTTOM LEFT OF PAGE. BUT, WE SHALL NEVER TELL U THAT U NEED TO RESET UR PASSWORD.
CUZ, HOW WOULD WE KNOW? ITS A SCAMMER. BOY, YEAH WE KNOW TIMES R DESPERATE FOR US ALSO.
GO AWAY SCAMMER AND DON'T FALL FOR IT, GUYS AND GALS.

I had one of these a week or two ago. I didn't change my password because I was still able to log in. Thank you for letting us all know. We love and appreciate you Charon!

Yes. It was really strange I wonder if I can find the email to show. It said in order to help keep my account secure please change my password.

Well that is always good advice. But, we did not send it. And, because we know that PR forum just had a spoofed site put up using their members names and fake posts, it is possible someone is trying to dupe others into thinking we have a site. Elsewhere or such.
Just glad u did not fall for it.

Me too! I always go check and make sure I can log in when I get a message like that. I usually go to the site and not click anything in the email. I don't know how I would have gotten it. Or even how they would have gotten my info. Kind of scary.

It has become brutal fire. And so many scammers. Many of the younger group, mainly a criminal element, know how to hack. Windows makes it very easy.
If it seems to be new and unlike our usual policy, just check with me first. If you can get on, no one has changed ur password.
Always something. We are a tiny forum, I don't know why so many with deviant behavior think they can take advantage of us.
Most of us here are well schooled in the online world. People. Bad People. sighs.
