it is apparent u did not read other welcome threads to get an idea what people say. and that we mandate the welcome thread as we wont share our hard learned info unless we trust you.
not an outstanding beginning unless u just had a baby. this forum is for chronically ill, chronically anxious.
we are adults and many r still professionals. but it is customary to give people an idea whom u r.
nonetheless, welcome aboard. may u find all you need herein.

ok, this is an aside. but when i did a welcome thread here when we began it, i just wrote: hi, i am charon. i have been around forums a long time.
not exactly gaelic prose. so, many a times beginning a new forum is strange. but, let's see. welcome.

Welcome ecksor. Charon has some good advice (always does).. If you are hesitant on what to say, I would first read what others have posted and then see how the community responds to their posts. Anyway, I have found that helpful in sending a message that is both relevant and has the right "mood'..

Not really a questioning of being unwelcoming, this is a sensitive area/forum so you are guided to the rules. Keep to the rules and you will be very welcome (and helped!).

We have quite a few troublemakers and sometimes the reaction is to something else that has us primed.

lol .... We do say things differently in the states ... Sometimes things are interpreted Pete Tong (wrong) see that is different to me, yet perfectly right ...
As Linville said, lately we have had MORE than our fair share of ... trouble, let's just say trouble that you may not even believe... Sheeeesh!
So it is nothing personal, we just take a hammering from, the neer-do-wells and it makes all of us here a bit more jumpyer (is that a word) that usual ...
As a matter-0-fact, there was another fellow that told me that by putting my 3 dots after my sentences, where he was from meant that I didn't believe what he was saying... He's still her and a great member (as you see I still use those dots

Peek-a-boo, I see you! Welcome to the forum. Please don't misinterpret the moderators' cautiousness as hostility. This is possibly the friendliest forum I've been priveleged to be a part of.
