How I do create / attach a poll - Richardg8092 - 02-03-2018

Hello all.
I would like to attach a poll to a thread that I am composing.
I have ticked the box "I want to post a poll"  and selected 5 options.
In the Poll: section I see "Optionally you may attach a poll to this thread."
I am guessing that this mean that I now need to use some software to create the Poll (and the functions I'd like included), save it to my desktop, then upload it as an attachment to my new thread.

Oh dear. Whereto from here?
I am certainly not looking for someone to create the poll for me - I'd actually like to learn how to do this for myself.

But I just need some kind soul to point me towards the poll creating software that is most compatible with the IOPList forum please. Smile

With Thanks,
R.

hit post new thread. Under where the body of the message goes, there are about five options. the last is to create a poll. hit that and i imagine all choices will show up to do so.

Hello and Thank you Charon.
You are right (of course Big Grin!)
Yes - I now see that it is presented as the very last screen before the thread is actually posted.
Still learning the ropes... Wink

Thank you for your quick response.
Best Regards,
Richard.

I have successfully listed my Poll, thank you Charon.
The maximum amount of letters in each category is 5. ( Thus,  Etizest 1 must be entered as Ezest)
IOPList members are a bright bunch though, I'm sure they'll be able to work out my 'shorthand'.  Smile
All the best.
