Hi! I'm a 58 year old guy that's always struggled with anxiety and depression. It's been a life long battle exacerbated by chronic back pain that I can no longer get relief as a result of the opioid hysteria. I know there's a lot of abuse, but forcing people with chronic pain issues to try to talk it out of their minds or use stretching exercises to alleviate it is ridiculous. They obviously have no understanding how that kind of medical condition can completely change someone's quality of life. But it was nice to see the site and I look forward to getting to the point where I may be able to get real solutions.

Ok, salty. Welcome.
It has become horrific to get meds both in real life, and online has gotten very tough. Countries are targetted.
It is an horrific abuse of we, the US citizen whom contributed all our lives till disability won over.

Sorry you are having such back pain! I have had 2 surgeries on mine and still experience pain.
I do not give advice on whether to have surgery, because I know some people obtain relief. I was not one of the lucky ones.

Welcome to the best IOP forum on the web in my opinion since it is so much more. Read the Rule Book First as they are enforced. This forum stays the best because
of those rules and it's also easy to break em without knowing you ever did. It may seem a bit "strict" but they are the reason this forum the best.
The Moderators here work long and hard to keep the troublemakers out and drama to a minimum.
You got a lot of great people here with a lot of knowledge and wisdom.
The best advice I can give is to Read, Read and Read some more and learn the language. Make a few posts out there under topics you are interested or start a
thread and let everyone get to know you a bit. You kind of have to build up your reputation or street creds as they call it in the city. Once people get to know you
more and more by your posts the doors will start to open for you.
