Contempt process begins against FBI after Biden 'bribery' doc viewing
House Republicans are officially starting contempt of Congress charges against FBI Director Chris Wray for failing to turn over Biden 'bribery' document they claim shows then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a $5 million 'criminal' scheme with a foreign national. The escalation comes after the Republican and Democratic leaders of the House Oversight Committee were granted access by the FBI Monday to view the FD-1023 form in a secure facility within the Capitol. The document apparently details an 'arrangement' for an exchange of money for policy decisions. The Republicans issued a subpoena for the FD-1023 form last month and FBI Director Chris Wray was given a hard deadline of May 30 to hand over the unclassified document, which he did not comply with. After reviewing the document Monday, Comer told reporters the accusations contained in the form 'suggests a pattern of bribery' consistent with findings the committee has put out publicly.

It's called 'money laundering,' he said, saying it fits within the pattern of over $1 million in Romanian-linked payments to the Biden family revealed last month. In early May, Republicans released a report digging in on over $10 million received by Biden family members from foreign actors, including previously undisclosed $1 million in Romanian-linked payments, and a 'web' of 20 companies created while President Joe Biden was vice president and pushing anti-corruption efforts abroad. He also said the FBI record was 'not disproven' and is currently being used in an ongoing investigation that is being conducted by the Department of Justice in Delaware into Hunter Biden's finances. The 'confidential human source' is a 'trusted, highly credible informant' who has been used by the FBI for over 10 years and has been paid over six figures, continued Comer. The chairman added that contempt proceedings will begin this Thursday. 'At the briefing, the FBI again refused to hand over the unclassified record to the custody of the House Oversight Committee, and we will now initiate contempt of Congress hearings this Thursday.'

The FBI confirmed to DailyMail.com last week that it would allow committee leadership to view the document. 'During today's call, Director Wray offered to provide the Committee's Chairman and Ranking Member an opportunity to review information responsive to the subpoena in a secure manner to accommodate the committee, while protecting the confidentiality and safety of sources and important investigative sensitivities,' said the FBI in a statement. 'The FBI has continually demonstrated its commitment to working with the Committee to accommodate its request, from scheduling briefings and calls to now allowing the Chair to review information in person. The FBI remains committed to cooperating with the Committee in good faith.'

Raskin blasted the Republicans' handling of the document in a reporter gaggle following Monday's briefing, calling it 'second-hand hearsay.' He said former U.S. Attorney Scott Brady for the Western District of Pennsylvania and then-Attorney General Bill Barr did not find any reason to escalate the investigation into all 'allegations related to Ukraine' based on the FD-1023 form. 'I am just surprised that my colleagues want to try to litigate this in public, much less hold the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in contempt for complying with the request when there was a whole process that was undertaken, and that process came to its natural end as I understand it,' Raskin said. He would not directly confirm that the foreign national alleged in the memo being sought by Republicans is from Ukraine. Raskin did agree with his Republican colleagues that the whistleblower is considered 'credible.' The White House has also pushed back, calling the Republican-led investigation 'unfounded' and 'politically motivated.' Last week, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy backed up Comer's contempt threat - saying he is 'prepared' to move forward with the charge. 'We have jurisdiction over the FBI, which they seem to act like we do not,' said McCarthy.

All politicians are crooks gotta wonder how they ALL retire as multi plus millionaires and some ???

RE: biden - Charon - 06-06-2023

It seems that way. And it is disgusting. *i am sorry but the news story broke it up into pages and some info was repeated and i dont have the strength to correct it all*

And everyone wanted to live in Scarsdale. Unless they did live there.

Obama said: I will get scarsdale integrated if it is the last act in my presidency.

And, he did. In addition to abuse, there is now lots of crime. Fires set deliberately.

Good job, Obama. Oh, he would have approved of the perversion as Michelle is Michael and the world knows it.

RE: biden - Charon - 06-06-2023

Biden was not a multi millionaire until his Vice presidency wherein he done all his dirty deals with good ole sonny jim.

I never followed politics until last few years. Not one news outlet had the intestinal fortitude to tell the truth. Or were afraid of dying for same.

This world is so hateful now.

And greed and murder etc? Its all part of politics.

I don't have the clip but i saw Anne Heche whom knew about the elites cuz she dated Ellen DeGeneris, and knew a lot, sit up and open the body bag they had her in and say: I am still alive! not for long. she knew too much.

Tons of names were revealed overnite about those whom hung out with Epstein.

The America I grew up in and loved is no more.

Can we stop all these insane sickos? At least don't let teachers wear ten feet long fake breasts in shop class.

It is disgusting what people have done to Our America. My grandparents came here at 13 and made successful careers. Not rich but they survived well.

Wait till they keep that border open for a few months or years. And they have new shots they want people to take.

God? Bless America.

No, you don't.  I deleted my comment because it is too early for me to get sucked into
political bullshit.

It's so sad that Hunter gets such a soft deal. Honestly if you the son of any politician you should be held to the highest extent of the law. If your father whose been in politics all his life, then he's been getting special treatment his whole life! Also for him to say he had no knowledge of his sons affairs, well then that makes almost as bad of a father then his is president. This country is serious need of a revolution!

Piers Morgan Rips ‘Hannibal Lecter’ Biden For ‘Nibbling on a Frightened Young Girl’: ‘I’d Be Getting the Police’

Fox News Tonight guest host Piers Morgan tore into President Joe Biden for “literally nibbling” on “a frightened young girl” in Finland this week and compared the president to the fictional cannibal Hannibal Lecter.

The clip — which showed Biden nibbling the dress of a young girl being held by her mother during his trip to Helsinki, Finland — went viral on social media this week, with many social media users condemning his behavior as strange and inappropriate.

“Welcome back to Fox News Tonight. How’s your day going? I only ask because it can’t be going quite as badly as the president of the United States, who was caught nibbling on a frightened young girl during his trip to Finland,” said Morgan during his show on Friday, before asking:

How does he keep doing this? Why does he keep doing this? You think he’s Hannibal Lecter or something? It’s creepy, it’s weird, it’s definitely unpresidential, and as Tomi Lahren tweeted earlier today, it looks like he mistook the girl for an ice cream cone. Well sadly this isn’t the first time the commander-in-chief has gotten a little creepy and invaded other people’s personal space.

As the clip played, Morgan continued, “What is he doing with that young kid? Literally nibbling her! I hate to even say it because it sounds so weird! He’s the president!”

After joking that the child “literally thinks he’s gonna eat her,” Morgan said, “The thing is, even if it was his own grandchild, right, you’d still think it was a bit weird. The fact it’s some random person that’s standing there with their kid.”

He concluded by criticizing the mother of the child for getting her phone out to take a photo of the encounter, remarking, “I wouldn’t be getting a phone; I’d be getting the police.”
