Without an Rx you can use clobetasol - it is a much stronger steroid cream even at 1% You should be able to get this at one of your local pharmacies OTC or you can order it online - you can find it easily Apply the cream to the area affected Monday thru Friday and skip the weekends Use this product for only 3 weeks - and then take a break for a week this should give you the same results Begin again the week after you take the break If its plaques then use Neutrogena T/Sal - its a shampoo with salicylic acid It is supposed to be used as a shampoo but you can use it on any part of your body. Once you lather the area - make sure you let it stay on for at least 3 minutes -- this gives the med time to soak in The Tsal will loosen the plaques and then you can apply the Clobetasol You can also try a Ketoconozole shampoo - for your scalp as well as other areas- same thing - leave it on for at least 3 minutes then rinse Nizoral is the most available brand name I would suggest you use a combination of all of these - not just one - There is no way to cure the issue - only treat it to keep the symptoms under control RE: Steroid creams Topicort - Charon - 02-18-2024
RE: Steroid creams Topicort - bigenergybeam - 03-06-2024 Thank you @whatapain! You are not a pain ? I will try these out. I was on steroid cream but ran out and can’t really afford to goto the doctor for more but when I have flare ups (it’s like psoriaris but it’s not the same) it usually helped. I’ll give the others a shot they sound like they would work I appreciate you! RE: Steroid creams Topicort - Charon - 03-06-2024 and i really appeciate you whatapain i dont know this info |
