More than likely it’s a scam when they ask for VENMO payment upfront. I would proceed with caution. Don’t give anybody money until you see the property and review the lease. I would ask your social worker if she can help you find a private place to rent for you and Harry. You might want to browse the classified ads in your area to see if you h can find anything that suits you. I pray you find an acceptable solution to your housing situation.

Sounds like a red flag with that tiny house rental, especially with the Zelle payment. I’d definitely be cautious. Never pay upfront for a place you haven’t seen in person. Better to ask around for more reliable options, maybe through your social worker.
