I like 'dad weed', you know, not too high in THC, good CBD ratio. Can still function fairly normally.

Dad weed, too funny! I once went to a dispensary looking for "dad weed" about 2:1 Cbd:Thc and the budtender replied that his girlfriend likes that particular strain as well. I'm a grandpa!!

Just reminding peeps...if you are in a legal green state (or Amsterdam) then names really do mean something because professional growers are able to take the same seeds and put them in the same conditions every time (or modify with expert knowledge). They are working hard to keep all the factors consistent to keep the same ratio of THC to CBD and all the other canabinoids. If you aren't going to a dispensery in a legal state, then, yeah, they might be Blue Cheese or GSC seeds. But the grower is probably not keeping the same conditions (temperature, daylight-hours, fertilizer, filtered water, and stuff like that). They might know how to grow good stuff, but the exact conditions aren't going to be the same and the plants might get a change in conditions because the grower needs to be discreet. Brewing beer or just making food in the kitchen is more than just getting the right ingredients in the right amounts and the right oven temp. So don't be surprised or disappointed if your GSC isn't exactly what you read GSC is supposed to be on Leafly. Or that it changes from buy to buy even if its from the same vendor. The strain is more than just the seed.

For me its a heavy high indica something like a nice cheese strain. Lovely!

Still gaining experiece but I do remember that among the strains I districtly remember, "ww" and "ogk" worked well for me. Trying to be a bit discreet but if ayone is interested (trying to be circumspect!), please reply ad I'll add them. I'm sorry if I"m being unintential difficult (Ad who knows, mosybe tose abbreviations are well know), but circumspection feels like a good choice.

yes good to see a couple people chiming in here. So a couple things I love, first of all I love the dad w@ed. And the last post I made said I was going to be experimenting with more CB-D, and let me tell you I am sold sold sold.  even my wife of 18 years has now developed a liking of very very low dosage 1 to 1 T&C to C-BD lozenges when she has cramps.

And one of my family members is very sick with Parkinson’s, and I am trying to get them to please try high C$D 1:1 to help them. As the big Pharma stuff is just blowing their mind.  so the doctors, and my cuz has access to some pretty good ones, they all still are not sold on cannabis. Meanwhile guys who will never ever prescribe X@n@$ for anything psychological when it comes to someone a bit younger, my cousin is older, they can’t write enough mercedeez bzos. And they keep trying to adjust the medicine and I’m suggesting  why not try cannabis? Whatever,  every day that goes by I lose more and more respect for this country’s healthcare related situation. I think we have the best doctors, we just have a horrible system.  sorry to sound like Debbie downer.

as for the person with WW and OG K, sounds like the person is an indiga liker :-) .  I hardly ever smoke organic flower anymore as they call it, as I prefer the oil‘s,  vaping  is not nearly as bad on my allergies,  and you can more easily adjust the CBD. I also like the lozenges, as long as they are like very low 2.5. I might have a few of those. But someone my size probably needs at least 10 to feel anything or   eight I would think. But when it comes to edibles, I am much safer than the bubble boy ha ha- referring to Seinfeld not the horrible illness so please don’t be mad at me.

anyway I am not pushing anything I am not trying to enable anyone, but if there is one thing that has really helped my stomach, it’s high CB-D. Good luck everyone, and have a great day.

ps  I wonder about the legitimacy of strain names, as in a perfect world I would love to try panama red, Lamb’s ? ,  and Maui ” A word that means got excited” and Colombian yellow shiny etc., but those are probably just seeds grown in an indoor place, and it’s not those places unless it’s grown in those places. Hopefully that makes sense. But it is still the strain so I’m not entirely right, it just seems more special if it’s literally from those places. And finally once again I will complain ha ha I can’t believe you can’t get herbs from another state in both states are legal, as Humboldt County grows the best canbz, and I want Humboldt County herb,  please. Ok tried to make certain names harder for g@@gl

Yep it's "dad weed" for me! A 2:1 c to t ratio works great and my go to dispensary is now offering a 3:1 that I will try in the future. Looking for more edibles/tinctures, though it does not have that instant gratification.

This year VA legalized CBD and I’ve recently had the opportunity to try many forms (tinctures, sublingual, lotions, edibles, etc.) in what I KNOW are legit because I bought them at CVS, Wegmans, etc. haha
Anyway, what I found really surprising was how effective the topical preparations are, in comparison with how underwhelming the oral forms are, as far as my pain goes (a combination of neuropathic and traditional injury). I would encourage anyone with chronic pain and access to CBD supplements (particularly if you can just pick them up at the grocery store) to try out as many forms as possible, from
what I understand, everyone responds differently, and in my case I never would have guessed that a topical balm would prove superior to orally ingested or even sublingual supplements.

*mileage may vary, in my case the topical balm maybe takes a solid 1.0 off the 1-10 pain scale, when applied to my lower back, for several hours per application, but every bit helps, right?*

Just tried Cereal Milk and Mac 1 this past week as a Christmas present from a friend and am impressed with both. Tried a lot of different strain's over the last 35 years and I am not easily impressed.
