Philemon 1:18 - 25


18 If he hath wronged thee,
or oweth thee ought,
put that on mine account;
19 I Paul have written it with mine own hand,
I will repay it:
albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me
even thine own self besides.
20 Yea, brother,
let me have joy of thee in the Lord:
refresh my bowels in the Lord.
21 Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee,
knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
22 But withal prepare me also a lodging:
for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
23 There salute thee Epaphras,
my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus;

Aristarchus,
Demas,
Lucas,
my fellowlabourers.
25 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

Today's Prayer...


Dear Father in heaven,

You have sent us the Lord Jesus to bear our guilt and our misery.
To this day we rejoice that he came,
he who can free us from all evil.
Teach us to understand the way of the Cross,
the way Jesus went.
Grant that we may always follow him,
even if we also suffer and have a cross to bear.
Then we can joyfully go the way he went to the glory of your name,
O Father in heaven.
We are your children whether we understand it or not.
You protect and care for us,
until your glory comes and everything is completed that was
begun through Jesus Christ,
the Savior of the world.
Bless us in his Word,
and help us to become his true followers.
