In effect, if we want to partake in the glory of the Lord, we must also partake in His suffering.

At the time, for me, it answered all questions as to why suffering exists. Don't like it, but I so want to be with loved ones and The One I love. (song of songs.)

So well spoken---------someone greater than I said: ......you cannot know true joy without suffering.
Personally, I do not think there is 1 person in the world who has not some hardship- some issue- some pain-something to pray for.....................Folken

This is probably the one of the best known verses besides psalm 23.
Years ago there used to be a guy who somehow got into all the big baseball games, football, golf u name it, with a sign John 3:16.
Rollen Stewart was his name- you can gog him or wik him. T.V. was always trying to keep him out of the picture but he seemed to always get in behind the action.
He got arrested for kidnapping and is serving life------sheesh!!
How he ever paid for all those tickets and travel I do not know. ................anyhow this is also one of my fav verses..................Folken

Sorry, this might be quite long. It is prophesy in the Old Testament about the Messiah that would come and suffer for us. It reminds me of his great love for all mankind.

i love isaiah. jeremiah. song of songs. proverbs. psalms.

gonna do my bible again. used the colors of academia for facts; impt references to me; cross referenced it.

but, i tend to get very invovled. Life is changing for me so I am guessing differing scripture will mean even more to me now.

What i think is incredible, is that we have posted scripture on a new and ethical offshoot of topix,*ioplist* for the Love of God, and we can post scripture and not be banned.

I think the scripture fits with the sites goal(s).........ie. to provide help and comfort when needed. ,......<Yes? No?> < I hope I am correct but JMHO> < stay tuned >
