It's mostly available in Eastern Europe but also elsewhere. Contains 125mg amobarbital, 125mg glutethimide and 7mg promethazine.
Now I'm mad, anybody remember Doriden? Codeine with gluthetimide made your liver process it up to 90% morphine, not the usual 3 to 15%. It was available in the US and Canada until the early 90's, they'd give that pill often because codeine cannot be IV'd so it was a genius idea, of course they had to remove it. What would glutethimide do here...I'm educated in pharmacology and I never read nor thought about other applications of gluthetimide. But I can't help but think it boosts amobarbital, I think 125mg of amobarbital is a medium dose, not a large dose by any means, it's a kind of pill where they lowered the dose of amobarbital, added in promethazine and the gluthetimide so there was no need for more amobarbital?
