I was thinking about talking to my Dr. to find an effective medication for my Social Anxiety since I need to talk to people all day in order to make money. Didn't know what the consensus is on Clonazepam. I am required to do both physical AND social sales during the work day. Cannot be zonked or out of character. Just smooth and simple me.
What is the common feedback people have for the way Clon makes people feel compared to other Benzos?

I have personally had good luck with clon@zepam 2mg daily over multiple year use. I like the fact that it has a long half life, and it doesn't make me feel tired. It took a while to get the drug and dosage correct and I also have to be clear headed and involved. I remember xans made me a little bit slow. I remember di@zapam was helpful too, but I can't remember why the change was made. To have been at the same 2mg clon dosage for so long makes me wonder how much is psychosomatic at this point, but FWIW, I've had long term success. I wish you success in finding what works for you,

I used clonazepam for years because it eliminated my anxiety and I just felt like “me”…not sleepy, not high.
A warning though…when I had to get off it, it was very, very difficult and I had to switch to Valium to make a slow withdrawal.

When I quit, I kept splitting the pieces in half like you were doing, but I had access to a few Valium at the end that really helped. Do you maybe have access to 2 or 3 Valium? I can only speak for my experiences, but they really helped. Stick with it, you're almost there.

I've been prescribed Kpin for a few years and it's really helped me out in social situations. Now that I'm retired, my need for it has gone way down. It is nice to have as a security blanket for airports and in-laws. I have been able to break my 1mg into halves and quarters with good results. That's the great thing about using them only when you really really need them. At one point 1-3mg didn't always cut it. Good luck to all that are considering Kpin or those that are tapering, sometimes less is more.

It really is a very powerful, yet subtle substance. Benzos are wonderful drugs, magically effective, but only when used as needed. They are less rewarding and reinforcing than opiates or alcohol, but one quickly becones dependent on the state of calm they induce.
